It gives a look at how life is for Eragon now he is the leader/ teacher of the riders and dragons.
I was very disappointed with the book.. It still did not tell you how the series ended. One story written by his sister. Not what I expected.

Both my 10yr old and I loved this one. Great insights into the author as well, in the introduction. If you loved the Eragon series, you will like this also.
After 7 long years Christopher Polini has done it again. He delivered a book that transported me not just back to Alagaësia but back to my teenage years of reading the Inheritance Cycle. Brilliantly written he gives a tantalising taste of what has been going on in Alagaësia since we last left everyone. It left me wanting to know more about what Eragon, Saphira, Murtagh, Angela, and Ayra are up to. It brings me hope that he will release another tome like volume of the Inheritance Cycle. A must read for any Paolini fan!
Amazing new stories anyone who liked the inheritance cycle will love to know more stories from alagasia. Would recommend
very underwhelming, did not enjoy it at all, felt like a total let down, the stories told were not even captivating and felt like a rushed release, definitely a major disappointment compared to the inheritance cycle
