The Glencairn Whisky Glass

I'm enjoying my whiskey a lot more after moving from simple tumblers to these glasses. The aroma is half the experience and the shape of these is perfect for nosing. They're a well-judged size and the base gives them a comfortable weight; they make swirling the whiskey a pleasure. At around AU$12.00 each they're money well spent, a fraction of the cost of your whiskey but increasing the enjoyment significantly.

Bought two of these whisky glasses as a Christmas present, ordered on line, paid and they were delivered very swiftly and securely wrapped. I am very pleased with the glasses, they are very stylish and good quality!Highly Recommended!

1st month of tastings

I was lucky to receive a Whiskey Loot 12 month subscription for my birthday. I’m one month in and already learning more about why I like certain whiskeys more than others.I am hoping to understand what characters to look for (that suit my palate) when buying whiskey off the shelf.Of the first 3 bottles I enjoyed the Cragganmore and Dalwhinnie and not so much the MacCallan. I look forward to the continued tasting journey to educate my mind and palate.

Excellent quality glassware for a small price

I was quite shocked at how fine the glasses were. I saw them listed as in stock on the Bed, Bath & Beyond site but they were not in the store, so I was a little concerned that they were coming from Anchor Hocking. But the crystal is thin and the rims are just as smooth as a fire-cut rim. They ring beautifully and could easily be worth more than twice as much. In fact, we discovered these glasses while in Scotland over the summer, but weren't willing to pay the 20 or 25 Euros, and then take the chance of transporting them home. That would have made them over $30 for two! They really do enhance the enjoyment of a fine Scotch whiskey. Great glasses for bourbon

Bought five of these to use when friends come over to drink bourbon. Love the way you get to smell the bourbon before you taste it. They are nice glasses. Not too heavy, but heavy enough for hand washing or the dishwasher. . Not too fragile that you worry about shattering. Love the shape and style.

Lovely glass, but breaks easily.

Sadly, I’m only ordering this class since I broke the last one by leaving it in a careless location. Thus I have discovered that it breaks quite easily, but is gorgeous to look at and does a great job at promoting the gorgeous scent and taste of the whiskies from Whiskey Loot.

Not just for whiskey

I am not a whiskey drinker, but make it a Baileys and you have my attention. So when I was struggling to find just the right glass for my occasional glass of Baileys, I thought I would give this a try. After all Baileys does have Irish Whiskey in it. The glass is so pretty and it is of fine quality. It is such a pleasure to drink Baileys from a glass with such a unique shape. I have received quite a few compliments on the glass and my use of it.

I placed an order a few days before Xmas for a present (it had been out of stock until a few days before Xmas) it was received 2 days later in time for Xmas, beautifully engraved and packed. My husband loved it! Will definitely use again. All previous orders have been just asgard.
