A fruit forward nose of plums, cherry, sticky dates and raisins accented by a hint of nutmeg and wood notes was followed by a nice warming palate of red berries and spices.The finish is easily the best part and is extremely satisfying with malt, burnt caramel, cherry pie and spices flowing through in a medium length, but extremely flavourful finish.Would buy this again without thinking twice.

In Tasting The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky through Whisky Loot, I found this as described and it really is the gateway drug into whisky. Personally I like flavours and the Sherry Cask adds a sweetness I enjoyed.

One of the better 12 year old scotches I've tried. Rate it with the cragganmore 12, but costs a couple of dollars more.
Perfectly balance very very smooth a real delight to drink, would highly recommend this!

There’s nothing better than having a bottle of Macallan waiting for you when you get home from a hard day’s work.
Middle of the road whiskey. Not the best but quite drinkable. Not our favourite.
Never heard of this brand before and the first time I tried this one was whilst overseas in Vietnam and absolutely loved it. So when I saw this was available here man I was excited!
Really enjoyed this dram, could really smell the vanilla and found both the taste and finish extremely pleasant, a must have for the home bar.
