The Matrix is finally available on 4K blue-ray and the results are nothing short of phenomenal. I don’t remember it looking this good ever, even back in 1999 at the cinema. It’s like watching a brand new movie and the colour grading is spot on as is the original film grain. Forget the sequels this is the one to own the original and the best! Highly recommended!

It's grainy because it was shot on film, film is inherently grainy. Also colour-wise, it represents how the film originally looked in theatres, the old blu-ray featured a revisionist green colour palate that was added to match the look of the awful sequels.
What a great action packed movie. First time I've seen this right through and it was awesome. Worth the Money.
Relive this 1999 classic in dazzling 4k with HDR.From the peach fuzz visible on Trinity's face, to the hyper-real detail in the explosions in the lobby scene, this film has been made breathtaking all over again.I thought The Matrix was beginning to look a bit dated, until now.

Absolutely mind blowing. The movie could still sustain my interest after watching it multiple times 20 years ago. The 4K transfer is just reference through and through. Don't recollect seeing this kinda clarity in cinemas when it came. Must have!!!
This is hands down one of the best 4K transfers I’ve ever seen. The original 35mm print has been scanned and remastered for a genuine and breathtaking 4K experience. And don’t get me started on that thumping Dolby Atmos audio mix! Whoah indeed!
