main character is a doctor who lives with his sister in the village of kings Abbott who basically is a substitute Hastings. There are two murders including the wealthy
businessman Roger Ackroyd and the case of hiis missing stepson. Rogers house is full of family , staff and friends. Poirot is staying in town and is asked to help solve the
crime. This has a very clever plot and a wonderful surprise twist at the end. This novel is a classic for a reason and on crime readers lists of best crime novels .if ...
