The book is realy nice, but i dont know why the pictures inside are made in black and white, when on the photo they are presented as coloured.

Delightful read and experience

A treasure - the book excels the movie in so many ways. This edition has beautiful illustrations and a delightful use of colored text as a plot device.

Fun to read

I love the book as much as the movie. My daughter and nieces and nephews would always ask me to read it. They loved Fantasia and learned to use their own imaginations and built their own fantasy worlds.

Great story, bad printing.

The Neverending Story is my favorite book, and as an English major and lifelong bibliophile that really means something. I'm giving this one only 3 stars, however, because I ordered this copy for my friend and for some strange reason the colors in the book are all reversed from my original copy!

I WANTED THE ORIGINAL BOOK I'D READ TO MY KIDS

I've heard The Neverending Story has been "revised" in the 20-30 years since I read to my kids. One of them has that book & read it to his kids. I got this unrevised copy in far greater shape than I expected ('like new') so my newest grandchild will also see "in green print" what a dream, great imagination, purpose, & some hard work can bring a world to life. He'll also 'become' part of the book that's "NOT FOR HIM!"

Love this story

Love this story, reading with the children after they saw the film. Is a real page turner. Only reason not 5 is the print is really small. A great read though. Xx

Pure entertainment in print form

Wonderful book! I loved the movie, and reading the book provides so much more interesting plot detail and dialogue that could not be provided in the film. The writing style of the author is reader-friendly and engaging; I find it difficult to put the book down! The quality of writing from Michael Ende is much easier to follow than that of JRR Tolkein. Being a fan of the film, I loved the illustration on the cover of the book, as it appears to be a still taken during the production of the film, although this particular shot in the surrounding scene was not in the film itself, (At least not in the American version of the film). I would highly recommend that anyone who loves the film to read this book.

Wonderful as the memories I have from my first time reading it!

I loved the Never Ending Story as a teenager and wanted to get my hands on the same edition with the pretty illustrations and written in red and green ink. I finally came across this seller who reasonably priced! I cant wait to read it with her!!
