I bought this coat to replace a Tommy Hilfiger coat which I purchased from very in September 2022, I really loved that coat but the zip had come away from the fabric near the chest area, so couldnāt zip it up properly, so I was desperate to get another coat especially for work. So I ended up buying this and for the price I was expecting a lot more, itās very warm but basic and Iāve only had it over a month and have noticed the feathers poking out of the coat in different areas which is very annoying. I think after this coat Iām going to go back to buying cheaper coats like I used to because they seem to last a lot longer than the designer brands.

His size and preferred color was still sold out in most places so we were happy to find it. He wears it everyday since we have been in the subzero temps. With a hoodie, he stays warm. Without the hoodie and just a long sleeve tshirt, he can wear it throughout the winter without being cold or too hot. He likes the pockets, too.

I bought this coat for my son. He is in High School and can not fit in his coat from last year because he had grown taller and broader. He is about 5'7'' and has broad shoulders. The coat fits really well. Since he runs hot all the time, this coat is thin enough but also can keep him warm in NY winters. I suggested that IF he needs extra layers, he can wear a thinsulate vest underneath but that is up to him. He says that it is not bulky and can fit in his NF backpack. The hood sold me because he does not like other accessories. THIS KID IS EQUIPPED WITH NORTHFACE GEAR! Looks very stylish for a HS kid but also very mature. I got this in the blue. Highly recommend!

I've use it in the cold night camping and a little rain. Not sure how wet I'd trust to get it though.It's great warm packable jacket.The sleeves are elastic and will fit nice with gloves but can be a little loose on the wrist.When first putting the jacket on it is cold on the skin. The pockets are placed well.The hood could potentially fit a bump helmet underneath. It is a loud jacket can be a little noisy.
I am using my new puffy coat for everyday use like going to class or out at the store or even hiking. I love how it feels lightweight and yet I am still feeling really warm. I will say a big issue is for some reason the feathers in my coat are starting to come out through small holes which is very bad. I am not sure if all of them are like this or just mine in particular. Just make sure this is not a problem for you. Overall it's a solid coat, just don't like the quality defects for something so expensive.

Great looking jacket, but being North Face, I was expecting it to be thicker (for warmth) due to the price and make. However, it's an Xmas gift to my son, so I can't comment on it's overall warmth until it's used, but will update if necessary.I actually ordered a 'small mens', for my 13yr old and in the past, other small mens clothing have always been too big on him, but this actually fits nice.
I purchased this coat for my son for Christmas. He is 5'11 and 140 pounds. A medium fit perfect everywhere except it wasn't quite long enough. It hits right above the hips. I returned it for one of the extended size NorthFace coats. He loved this coat but he needed something longer. The large size was sold out so I couldn't exchange it. I think a large would still look short as it is the design of the coat. No complaints about the coat at all.
Bought a medium for my son(6'1, 190lbs). He really likes it. Enough room to wear a hoodie or sweater underneath, but not too much. Perfect for the NYC winter. Only bummer was a few feathers were poking through the seams. Other than that, great jacket!
Considering this is my first time experiencing winter in Michigan, and that this is my first puffer jacket, this is a very warm puffer jacket even while feeling very light. It does get hot and I would suggest to begin use below 40 degrees as it does get very hot. Although it isn't as cold as it gets right now in Michigan, with layering it held me very warm today for a 20 minute walk at 25 degrees. I think the range for this jacket is between 40-20 degrees. I love the style and the way the jacket feels. You can't go wrong with this puffer. It protects heavily against wind, which was my biggest problem before I had this jacket. A normal cotton hoodie, the cold goes through, but with this The North Face puffer, no cold at all. Excellent value for the price!
