The North Face Base Camp Fuse Box - TNF Black TNF Black - One Size

I recently bought this bag to replace some older luggage I had. I enjoy travelling abroad and here in Scotland so I am a fan of light weight, high volume, robust design and durable pieces of kit that do exactly what you need them to do.The Fuse box does all of this. It even fits the "Small cabin bag dimensions" for many aircraft so I recently took it to Santorini and it fits perfectly under the seat in front of me allowing me to pack around 30 litres of kit in it and still take an additional cabin bag and place that wheelie case in the overhead locker.This Fuse Box back pack is really comfy to wear, strong durable materials and the zips are proper chunky and strong. She raves about it too.Its unique square/rectangle shape allows you to fold, pack and store a wealth of items in it and as the shape is the same from bottom to top you never loose space or have to compromise like you would with a traditional back pack that is rounded on the upper half of the bag.Overall a great bag and I would highly recommend.

Spacious and sleek looking. This is my commuter bag which has plenty of space for laptop/notebook etc while also allowing my to pack ny gym clothes withoughr a problem. I'd also be able to back force weekend away with just this bag and be perfectly fine. Definitely recommended! Plus, it's super sturdy I feel this will last be for many years to come.

I use this as an everyday carry bag for work, academic study and leisure (gym kit and sports kit). The backpack meets the organisational criteria that I require with a removable accessory sleeve, net storage under the lid and a front pocket. A few more organiser pockets on the inside may be useful. The security pocket is adequate to store either wallets or keys. Note, the storage organiser is prone to unclipping but is useful if you want a clear space to utilise for shopping etc.I don't use a laptop so the laptop sleeve serves no purpose but isn't intrusive. The internal drinks pocket hold my 1 litre cycling water bottle.As a square toploader the backpack stays upright when stowed on the floor. Fabric is water resistant.The straps feel a bit far apart and if you have a mesomorphic shape (myself) then they rest awkwardly under the armpits and feels as though it is sliding off. However using the chest strap places the backpack in a much better position and increases comfort.I found that for a 30l backpack it is quite small, My previous backpack was a 30l but held much more, meaning I could add my gym kit to my bag.I suspected the backpack was smaller than 30l. I compared it to the 28l Instigator; please explain how the 28l instigator is larger in size but is 28l? Surely this means the fuse box with smaller dimensions than the instigator is smaller then than 28l? It looses 2 stars for this size misnomer.
