I have had my "1970's First Ascents" edition Jester backpack for at least 15 years and it is in great condition after traveling the world with it. We recently purchased 2 new jester backpacks for our kids and told them they they shouldn't expect a new backpack for at least 10 years lol - needless to say they are a solid quality product built to last

Purchased the black backpack with white writing and the white strings on the front specifically bc the chest buckles were black on this certain backpack! It came with green chest buckles and looks like a boy backpack! Get the colors right!!! It’s clearly black in the photos you are advertising! My daughter hates it and is so disappointed because it don’t look like a girl backpack with that green!! I don’t stuff that looks like it’s for a boy either!!!!! She wanted this backpack with the black buckles so bad and was so excited to get it in the mail! Let down!!!!

I Love Everything North Face makes.It's the Quality of the Material.I have on 1 of my NF Jackets now.I brought my Daughter, Granddaughter and Grandson all NF Jackets a few Years ago.They have switched up the jacketsMy grandson can fit my daughter s jacket.My granddaughter where her brother s jacket now

We bought this for my son for school. We walk to and from and wanted sturdy, comfy, padded strap with some structure to the back without too much weight. This backpack delivers! The laptop sleeve is great as are the two water bottle holders on each side. 25L is ample room.
My mom gave this to my 11 year old son for his birthday. It is very comfortable and roomy. I love love love the reflective details. I'd give it 5 stars for this alone. We live in a busy area and it makes him so much more visible to cars. He likes the camo color. I like that on the camo color, the logo is fairly discreet. I wanted to get another for my 8 year old son but the logo is too obnoxious on the other colors.
My 4th grade son needed a new backpack this year, and I wanted something that he could get a few years out of. This is a nice, full size bag. Material is durable and the straps are strong. I wish it had a second pocket - even if it was an interior pocket - but other than that it is great!
My son has to carry so much in his backpack for school and has broken multiple backpacks. This is very durable, simple and the perfect size. It has a pocket for his Chromebook and a water bottle holder on the outside of the backpack which is rare to find these days. Great purchase!
Bought this for my younger brother as a birthday gift, and he LOVES it. It is the perfect size for him as a 10 year old, and it is holding up well. It is still big enough to hold all of his school supplies + some more. The price point for this bag is also great. Wound recommend this bag!!
I like this backpack, but would be nice if there was another zippered pocket somewhere either inside or on the front. Would also prefer toggles on the elastic part of the front holding section to secure items instead of a fused elastic. I have come to expect more from the Northface so this backpack is a little disappointing especially considering the price. My kid loves it though. Just doesn't have a ton of functionality. My other child has a Reebok backpack that is similar to this one and is superior to this model due to the above suggested components-was also 50$ cheaper.
The backpack is well made and fits my 9 year old. It's a little on the large size for him so it should last a few years.The only drawbacks are that there are no pockets for smaller items, which kids always have (especially pens, etc..) and that the water bottle pockets are made from mesh. These tend to wear out quicker.It would also be great to not have TNF logo so big and bold.
