I purchased this hat in the marvelous colour of 'goblin blue'. And it does not disappoint! The colour is exactly how I imagine a under-the-bridge goblin would be in a child's cartoon. Of course, real life goblins have a slightly less saturated colour since they spend so much time in darkness. Anyway, I am satisfied, and glad to pay hommage to goblin-kind everytime I am out on a sunny day in this festive hat.

Such a great hat. Closure not as good as some previous versions, but still very light, comfortable as can be, and dries so quickly. I hiked in a very light rain with it for hours, and it never felt heavy or wet. The length of this versions closure strap may need cutting or 'pinning' - I put 2 stitches of thread to pin it and works great. Previous version(s) were so long they easily tucked. But just as easy to cut, burn edge to seal fray.

I have owned three of these hats in the past and have always loved it and wanted a new one, as I wear them to the bone after a number of years since they were such fantastic hats, wearing them several times a week for various activities. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned in recent reviews, the new universal size is sorely disappointing. For me, it now sits much more shallowly on my head and unless I have it cranked tightly, I feel like it might slip off. This was my go to hat for the last 6 years+ so, definitely bummed. Hoping they bring back the old sizes (L/XL).
