I use the vest indoors and out to stay comfortable. It layers well under a fleece jacket, or my wind/rainproof jacket from The North Face. Indoors it keeps my core warm when I'm only wearing a lighter weight shirt. I've just moved back to Chicago after spending the past 16 years in the Florida Keys, and need the warmth, and comfort this vest provides. Don't be fooled by its light weight. It will keep you warm!

I got this as a gift, I couldn't believe how thin it is, specially on the upper chest area, feels like there's hardly any down!!I have hoodies thicker than this and the outer shell quality is unacceptable for TNF, it looks as it feels, CHEAP!!IMO skip this one, pay a few extra bucks and get a Nupset or Cuchillo Vest.Pros: stylish and allegedly ethically and consciously made.

Nice medium light vest for mild cold weather. Perfect for night out, camping. Light weight and very comfortable and nice looking. Just wishing it was a little more loose from the waist line. Other than that perfect vest.
Love it!! this is my second time purchasing this vest. I some how lost the first one after a few years and missed it so much, my first winter without. I had to get another one!! there are many imitations, but this vest is the original and most comfortable I have ever owned!! I highly recommend if your looking for something lit and functional.
absolutely love north face. I have many jackets and zip ups from them. My jackets are light weight and keep me incredibly warm! Even for being light jacket, even in winder months I am not freezing. I don't even have to grab my big coat most of the time the light one works just as well. I think this brand is great because it is high quality clothing, that works well in freezing temperatures. North face has versatility with so many great options that they for summer months, spring, cal and winter! I definitely recommend this brand for anyone who loves the outdoors as much as I do

Fantastic vest! Warm and comfortable. I like the boxes shape since I wear it while skiing and need my outer layers to be roomy enough to fit all those layers and ski pants. I also love wearing this as a daily vest or as part of my layering setup when it gets really cold
I use this vest for everyday casual wear here in the PNW and so far I love it. The sizing is accurate and the best appears to be very Will made. Being insulated with goose down this vest is nice and warm for the torso and very comfortable as it is extremely light weight.
