I like the lightweight, packable down jackets. Needed to replace my old one. It's not something to wear in extreme cold, snowy weather but great for hiking and running around. Only thing I don't like is the neck...it's a little taller collar than my old and uncomfortably rubs under my chin and neck. This normally wouldn't bother me much but the edge of it is pretty scratchy and rough and it bothers me. I wasn't planning on wearing a scarf with this jacket but I might need to bec of the zipper and edge along the neck.

Size it's perfect fit. My wife lived the jacket, photos look great, but in your hands in even more lovely. I loved the acongagua series and hope to purchase another one for her birthday. Sizing was very accurate for guiding and measure charts. Packaging was great. Just a tip for any one who is buying this, open the box without a cutter or you may risk damaging the jacket.

I first saw this jacket at a Bass Pro shop. The color is what drew my attention to it. It is such a gorgeous blue. I was looking for a light weight "Mid-Season" jacket when I spotted this one. They didn't have it in my size, so when I arrived home, I looked on the North Face website and found it. I have 2 other North Face jackets and love them. It's cold in Upstate NY, (15 minutes from the Canadian Border) and all three of my North Face keep me cozy and warm. Especially when that North wind blows and its below zero. I wouldn't buy any other brand.

I love how light weight this jacket is. I also have a different jacket that is lined with fur which feels bulky/heavy. I like the option to buy without hood. The collar on this jacket stays down. I would recommend this to a friend. I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs. I bought a small. Plenty of length in the sleeves. The medium was too big.

We hiked in March 6, 29 degrees at the South Kaibab Trailhead with snow on the trail. The jacket kept me snug and warm and also broke the wind as we hiked down the trail. It was super comfortable under my pack. Took it off at the second rest stop, rolled it up and put it in a stuff sack and added it to my pack. I wore it sleeping all three nights and was warm but not too hot. It looks stylish, not the Pilsbury doughboy look, but sleek and shaped for a woman. Nice jacket, good quality but didn't like the fit. It was too baggy in the slope of my back, whereas everywhere else was fitted. I got a medium and usually wear a small. I ended up going for the stretch puffer in a small and it was a perfect fit. If you're looking for a relaxed fit and you have an athletic body, this the jacket for you, but if you have a more shapely/hourglass body, I don't recommend.
This was my very first North Face purchase. I've been wanting one for many years. Now that i have one, I absolutely love this jacket! It's very warm and it shows especially in the wind. It's light and comfortable. I don't feel stuffed in it. The only thing that I don't like is that the collar doesn't fold down. It hits me on the side of my face, so I just fold the collar tips inward.
I purchased a different model last season, which is perfect for harsher weather. This coat is fantastic for slightly milder cold days. I didn't realize how much I could put in the inside pockets. I can securely carry my phone, and comfortable fit my Kindle as well! I will definitely stick to this brand, and the M fit is perfect for me.
I love this coat, it's perfect for Massachusetts shift to cold fall to winter weather.? The color is very pretty, I got the blue I live it. Great design, not too many fill cells so it's flattering. It's longer in the back to cover your bottom. Great deep pockets inside and out. Good elastic around the wrist keeps the sleeves in place. The logo is too bright, they should make it less garish against the color of the jacket but no one will wonder what brand the jacket is, you can see it a mile away! 😄 I'm a walking billboard. Regardless, I love this jacket. 100% satisfied, I hope it ages well

There were no surprise shipping charges or shipping delays. It arrived on time, as quoted, packaged sufficiently as to protect from michigan's weather.
