Combining an ultra-light yet supportive footplate, midsole rocker geometry and SurfaceCTRL grip, The North Face VECTIV technology is designed to maximise energy on the trail. And for the Exploris, that translates into hiking shoes engineered to go the distance. But while this iteration is loaded with the same great details as the original, there is a few changes. The platform below the foot is broader to provide greater stability. The stack height is 2 mm higher for improved comfort and support. And the rockered midsole offers a forked heel and forefoot and a TPU plate for increased lateral displacement and stability. Designed with input from The North Face athletes, the FUTURELIGHT membrane is still as waterproof and breathable as ever. The heels and toes are reinforced for protection on rocky trails and 4mm lugs hold firm on uneven terrain.

I really wanted to love them as I had my last pair of TNF hiking boots for 20 years but they really didn't work for me. The shoe itself fits but the inner sock liner was tight and makes them really hard to pull on in-fact impossible with thick socks. Not worth the battle to get them on.

Bought these 4 days ago last minute before doing two hikes - including one mountain with challenging terrain. These were out-the-box comfortable, supportive, waterproof and held up amazingly. I have very narrow feet and these were one of the only boots that I could actually tighten enough to support my feet. Definitely recommend, especially for anyone with narrow feet struggling to find hiking boots that tighten up enough.

These shoes are pretty versatile and have fantastic support and grip. I wore them in Sedona and did some climbs/hikes and they were fantastic. Then I went to Zion and hiked Angel's Landing with them. They did not disappoint.

Used for walking in all weathers and terrain. So far only worn once but straight on and very comfortable, worn around a van fest and no complaints..no rubbing etc, just as I expected. Love the Camo/pink. Stands out. Would buy again but they won't have them when I want them.
