This is blended so well together that you can wear this for any setting, any season, any occasion and it goes perfectly with any attire. Another underrated fragrance, and sadly discontinued. Not everyone knows, but this was actually the second release in DG’s “the one” line, and it didn’t last for very long after its 2010 debut. It did however, go in a much different direction than the original 2008 EDT. The highlighted notes of pepper stunningly mixed with lavender, creates quite a sophisticated, fresh and soapy fragrance. Cardamom and vanilla adds a very light sweetness, as well as a warmth that’s done differently, but is still a nod to the original. Very similar in performance to “the one” Grey, which is slightly better than the original, 4+ hours, with around 1-2 hours of moderate projection. You can still find it in circulation, so if you’re a DG fan, look for it, you can get it fairly cheap.

An incredibly sweet, seductive fragrance. Like a more grown-up version of "CK One Shock". Very high-quality smelling amber and tobacco, while not being too overpowering. I personally love the scent, but I don't believe this should be an everyday wear. This fragrance is more of a date night, once a week type fragrance that SHOULD NOT be overused. Keep it in your arsenal and use when appropriate. I own the 1.7 but I will definitely repurchase in a larger size. A secret weapon, use with caution. Overall, Scent:10/10 Longevity:8/10 Compliments:9/10 Sillage:8/10 Presentation:7/10

This is a great fragrance as you could probably tell by how little I have left. This is a very alluring, warm and spicy scent. I definitely pick up on the amber, citruses and tobacco and it makes for a great date night scent. The only reason this isn’t a 5/5 is the projection and longevity. While this makes for a good close scent, this does not last more than 3-4 hours on my skin, that could be due to my skin chemistry but it always seems to vanish rather quickly. The EDP version seems to stick around a little longer but not by much. This does not you shouldn’t still look into this fragrance. I still think this or the EDP is a must have in the collection.
This is a classic!! Tobacco leaf, slightly citrusy date night fragrance banger. Now I will say I do like the EDP more, since it seems to last a bit longer and is a little bit more rounded of a scent profile, but man this stuff is still great too. The one flaw as I had mentioned is the performance, honestly I get about 4 hours with this, but for a date, that’s perfectly acceptable, this stuff doesn’t need to last forever, it’s understated, mysterious and that’s the charm of it. I would recommend any man to look into this as it’s a great addition to any collection
DG the one edt is an amazing scent. It’s a light boozy, incensey scent that does super well on cooler evenings. This makes a great going out for dinner or date scent as it’s not very strong or doesn’t project all too heavily. Its longevity is where this one suffers as it only lasts about 2-3 hours. The bottle is nice and comes from a reputable house
DG The One edt is a well made average fragrance. It’s a good one to wear everyday during colder days. To me it starts of as a warm citrus scent, a little harsh in my opinion. But the dry down is the best part. It’s a nice, warm and tobacco-y scent. But my only issue is the longevity, after about 2 hours I can’t smell much of it. You’ll definitely need a good 8-10 sprays to get better performance. Either than that, it’s a safe buy.
Great office fragrance. It's a woody fragrance with some citrus, lavender, tobacco, and patchouli. It's mass appealing and subtle fragrance. The project is moderate, and longevity is average. The packaging is basic like all Dolce Gabbana. I really like this fragrance for anything indoors that is formal or semi formal.

Once it starts to dry down the cardamom becomes noticeable with the Watercress being more in the background. The Vanille kicks in pretty quickly during the mid and lasts pretty much till the end. I do get some patchouli but it's not as loud as the Vanille. Performance is decent as I get 7 to 8 hours on my skin with a couple of hours of projection.
