The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil - 30ml

I actually use as a deep treatment mask as I have very fine hair that was damaged. This is a thick oil rather than being a water-type consistency. If wearing for day time use opposed to an overnight mask. I have to be careful not to use too much on my fine hair (2 drops) as it can make my hair greasy. I absolutely love this oil! The smell is very interesting!.. very nutty (some have even described it as a manure-type smell). Personally I love the smell. This argon oil is an absolute must for either daily use for added shine or as an overnight mask. If you want a natural, high quality argon oil then give this a go!

Good oil for hair

I bought this Argan Oil after using a previous brand, but not being able to justify their price any longer. I usually work in 2-4 drops of this oil into my hair at night, warming up in my hands before applying. I find the dry look of my hair is lessened, however, I do sometimes get a stringy look, though I think that is more my application than the product. Overall I like this oil and notice my hair is much more manageable and less tangly but the end of the day when I have been using this regularly. If you have dry or thick hair, I would definitely recommend lessening the look of frizziness and always starting with like drops of oil than you think you will need.

Great for shiny, soft hair

I use this on wet hair before drying, only a small amount (3-6 drops) and only through the ends and lengths. I’m really pleased with the results, the texture and shine is great. Obviously it is an oil, so less is more depending on your hair texture. Even on my fine, straight hair I find that it doesn’t give a greasy appearance if used as described. I love it. As for the smell, I was a bit put off by some of the reviews, but honestly I would say it doesn’t have a strong, off-putting smell at all. It has a kind of organic, seed oil smell to it but I wouldn’t say it was noticeable, especially if you are using small amounts

Great for winter

Ok, so I get really bad contact dermatitis on the eyelids in the winter, my upper lids get super red, scaly and itchy, it's terrible! This stuff actually keeps the irritation at bay and when mixed with my eye moisturizer, it moisturizes so so good! I also use this stuff all over my body and my skin has never been softer! It's a new must have in the winter for me! As for my hair, I don't use it. I have fine straight hair and this tends to make my hair greasy, even tho I use a very small amount. It did moisturize my hair well, so maybe I'll try as a pre shower mask

Great moisturizer - combination skin

One of the best face moisturizers I’ve used. Recently purchased for dry hair but tried on my face when I read as could. I have used at night and in the morning. I haven’t had any issues with applying (powder or liquid) foundation. I will be repurchasing and recommending to family/friends to try, especially at the low cost. It helps with dry hair but can become weighted/oily if you apply too much - have to find the balance. Since using on my face, I have not been using anymore on my hair. Will search for another product to manage dry hair. Love that the product has only one ingredient!

Great natural argan oil

I'm not sure why everyone has such a problem with the scent. I was nervous about it given all the reviews. But it really does small nutty, does not smell bad at all! If you're looking for that very sweet, perfumy, artifically scented argan oil that every other company sells, then this product is not for you. But if you want a natural product (with a pleasant nutty smell), then go for this! I haven't used it on my hair, but very moisturizing for the skin. Really great product! Will purchase again.

Great oil, strange smell

A couple different parts to this review. I am using this product strictly for hair and not for skin: 1) I bought this as a hair treatment. I have never put any type of straight-up oil in my hair before (besides a few drops of Olaplex No.7), and someone recommended I drench my ends with this and sleep with it overnight. I did so and washed it out in the morning and didn't really notice a difference... I was unimpressed. However, I decided to try adding some to my damp hair post-shower as The Ordinary recommends, and boy did I like this!! I added it strictly to my lengths and ends (not roots!!) and let my hair air-dry and it was so glossy and shiny without feeling greasy! Love! 2) I loved the consistency of this oil. Despite using a ton (thought I used way too much), my hair still looked great! 3) The smell of this product is indeed weird. Has almost a burnt rubber scent. I could smell it while rubbing it in my hands and applying it to my hair. However, once my hair dried I have not noticed it, so it isn't a dealbreaker for me. However, it could be a dealbreaker if you are sensitive to scents or picky about scented products. Overall happy with the results and the price can't be beat. Will be adding it to my normal routine.

My go-to hair oil

Like a lot of us I've tried so many products to de-frizz my thick wavy hair including different oils. It's not color treated although I do use heat on it quite a bit and don't get trims as often as I should. I've found The Ordinary's Argan Oil works by far the best and adding shine, taming frizz, and making my hair look healthy. It's very lightweight and doesn't make my strands look greasy. I will occasionally apply the oil to my under eye area on top of The Ordinary's Argireline Solution before I seal everything in with Aquaphor before going to bed. I've noticed a significant increase in my skin's plumpness. I wish they sold this product in a larger size! For the price you can not go wrong, definitely give this a try.

So Good for Frizzy Hair

I would bleach it, color it, then remove it with a "hair color remover" which was essentially bleach. So as you can assume, my hair was a dry mess. I started using this oil and I felt an almost immediate improvement in the texture of my hair. Of course, I did have to cut some of the dead ends, but this oil really helps. I would usually take a penny-sized amount and massage it into my scalp, and let it sit for a few hours or for the whole day if I didn't have anything to do. Although it did help my dry skin, it was too heavy, causing my milia.
