My first time, ordering from Theory. The wool is like the super 120s wool, lightweight & great quality. I had to return the pants. The pants are not lined so it was too itchy. I can tolerate cashmere & merino wool. I was very hesitant initially to purchase these pants because they are mid rise but it was okay. I ordered a size 2, which is what I normally wear in other brands. My hips are around 35-36 inches and it was true to size. I'm disappointed and hoping to buy a pair of pants, that is lined. Haven't found it yet. I wanted the grey/blue colour. I kept the blazer and pencil skirt. The skirt is my only option at this point

Finally found work pants that fit well. Always hard because I hold my weight in my middle but legs are thinner so pants either fit my legs well but can’t button them or fit my waist but legs are too roomy. These are perfect. Pockets lay flat. Slim leg without being tight. Super nice soft wool that is thin good for summer. Great length as I am 5’4” they hit my ankles. Definitely cropped but not too short. Very stylish not typical boring work pants.

HelloI bought some Clean Pull on Pants from Theory on Marylebone High Street just before Christmas.Over the years I have bought many Theory pieces and this is the first time I have been disappointed.The hem fell down, the waistline is made of an elasticated band which does not sit properly and rolls up and the trousers bag at the knees.As you have specifically requested my review, I would be grateful to know what action you will take.Kind regardsSusan Darcy

Sadly these were not the right pair for me. Overall — very are cute and well made like all the Theory pants I own. I also liked the dressier feel of the material. But these are not a cut that flatters my body. I ended up returning and buying a different pair. I’m short but I also have a butt so sometimes finding a pant online can be challenging. I already own the Slit Legging in grey. So I returned these and ordered them in black.
I am not one to leave reviews but I was so excited about these pants only for them to rip in the back seam after 2 wears. I work in an office and I am generally not active so to find a small hole in the back seam after taking them off at the end of my work day was super disappointing. Furthermore, given the price this defect is unacceptable. Nordstrom is making it quite challenging for me to process an exchange and return, but given the multiple bad reviews you’d hope that they would be open minded. I sincerely hope that they stop selling these pants given their quality issues.
I have this pants in three different colors and they are mainstay in my professional wardrobe. I am 5'3 so it serves me as a straight fit slim cut pants rather than cropped. I ordered the new color "Sand", thinking it'll be white. I was wrong. It was more of a light greyish cream color. I ended up returning this color. Theory, please make this pants in white. I will reorder it, and my search for white pants will be over.
These will be my knew go to pants. Its so difficult to get basic pants in good fabric for office for a short person with curves. Most pants that fits the waist don't fit the hips and if lose, leave a gap at the gap. These are the perfect pants w=with the jacket in the same fabric. And will using them for customer meeting and more serious days in office. I plan to get these pants in many different fabrics going forward
5'6", 140 pounds here - my jacket sizes are generally 6-8 and my pants are usually 4-6. I generally think Theory's line of suits is made for women that lean more towards a rectangle body type. I'm generally a pear shape with broad shoulders and fairly athletic / muscular but slim. I have fairly muscular shapely legs, and got this in a size 6. I initially tried on a size 8, but the waist was way too big, so I went down to a 6 and the waist was still too big. However, I got the waist taken in, but realized that a size 6 clung to my legs in a way that didn't keep a straight line throughout the pant, which meant that I definitely should have went for the 8 for a wider pant leg. The pant lenght was perfect however, but I'll keep the pant width in mind next time.
Think the pants are great. They were on sale. I wasn’t sure of size. I should have ordered Size 10. I called Theory to see if I could exchange my size 8 pants for a size 10. They said it was a final sale and that I couldn’t exchange for a different size. I was disappointed. It wasn’t a return. I had already paid for them. Don’t understand that policy.
I can’t tell you how many pants I’ve gone through… how hard can it be?! I’m an attorney and need professional, good looking pants. What a nightmare.But here we are — these pants are it. Good, quality material. A steam after arrival is all they needed. Good length, I’m 5’6 and they are below my calf but above my ankle. In other words, they fall in the flattering area.Theory runs big for me. I’m normally a size 4 in pants. I ordered size 2 here, and will need the waist taken in (I’m 27inch waist). But that is fine, they fit everywhere else. Recommended.
