Thera Tears Eye Nutrition, Soft Gels - 90 softgels

My wife has had over productive tears for as long as I can remember. This came out by a private company at first and she started using it back then. She has been using this for years, It works great for her to get hem under control. It's not a end all but definitely a control. I have heard that it works with some better than other. The company also has other great items that are not available in stores yet. Hoping soon.

I have severe dry eye and just using eye drops wasn’t really helping anymore. I bought to try and help my eyes more. I have only been using this about a week so, I will update this review later. As of right now, the main thing that I notice is that this sometimes causes my eyes to water. That sounds like a bad thing but it isn’t. While this does cause my eyes to water, it isn’t the stinging watering that happens with dry eye. This almost just feels like moisture which this product is for. This contains Omega-3, Vitamin E, flaxseed oil and fish oil. Omega-3’s are crucial for healthy eyes. I’m hoping that the longer I use this, the more beneficial it will be. Got this product along with the Thera Tears eye drops (single vial form) on the advice of my ophthalmologist to take organic flax oil of some kind for blepharitis and dry eye. It's an interesting product; you've got a generous amount of vitamin e (natural version) to preserve the oils, and also to keep you from depleting your own vitamin E as you process the omega-3s. The fish oil is molecularly distilled, so it's likely clean, yet they leave it in the natural triglyceride form. However, there is no listing on the label for what country the fish and flax oil comes from or from what kind of fish. That info is pretty standard for most companies. You might write to them to find out.

Buy these if you have dry eyes...

If you have extremely dry eyes, buy these. I have found if I take these everyday, along with drinking lots of water, I use less drops and my eyes do not hurt. I tried other odorless fishoil capsule capsules and they did not work. Truly was amazed at these and all TheraTears products.

Great Product

Worked immediately. Tried other brands but made my eyes worse. My eye dr recommended this brand when I asked him. Also, I have read experts state online that dots lines etc are not associated with dry eyes. Well my left eye started having the problem for about five days before I made an appointment to see my doctor. Well after getting a clean bill of health with both my eyes and started taking these drops my left eye cleared up 100% percent. The lines are gone my eyes are clear and I see great.

Great for dry eyes

Have been taking these for years for dry eyes. After cataract surgery, my eyes started bothering me because of severe dryness but the dry eyes liquid eye drops didn't help too much. I read the great reviews for these eye vitamins and decided to try them and they really made a difference. Not only my eyes, my arthritis improved.I highly recommend these.

No more dry eyes!

Well I'm on my second bottle. I started out 3 a day for the first 2 days and no more dry eyes upon waking. I mean....I used to have to open them a teeny bit at a time, with tiny blinks because for some reason they got so dry this past year. I decided to give this a try. After the first 2 days, I thought well I'll save some money and since I'm taking a cap of cod liver oil anyway daily, I'll just take 2 of these. I went on all through the first bottle like that...and the eyes were a little dry but not too bad. I was also concerned about having too much fish oil if I took 3 of these and the cod liver oil. Well on my second bottle I am trying 3 of these and dropped the cod liver oil (which I was taking for tooth health). The most effective dry eye treatment

This supplement is not like an ordinary Omega supplement. After taking this for 6 weeks consistently, my severe dry eye resolved completely. After taking these for that time, I went to an optometrist who had never seen me before and he said "there is nothing wrong with your tear film, you don't have dry eye". Aside from having been diagnosed with dry eye by several optometrists (including one opthalmologist) prior to this, I knew I had dry eye - I could feel it! Later I moved away and saw a new optometrist who said my eyes look good. A year later I had stopped the supplement and she said "your eyes are looking dry". So I am not biased, this is not a placebo effect, this product is amazing!

Thera Tears saved me from surgery

After eye surgery, I ended up with dry eye. Drops did not help for more than 1/2 hour. Five eye exams over 8 months to be fitting with glasses, and all were all different results. It was suggested that I have more surgery to open the tear ducks. Stumbled across this and took a chance.
