And don’t recommend this brand.]] I’ve been using Therabreath gum health cpc mouthwash for a really long time. It leaves my mouth super minty fresh and helped my bleeding gums but would always suffer dry mouth and dry throat with sores in my throat all the time not knowing why and for a few years I’ve lived like this. I can’t believe I’ve added to my physical suffering in life by suffering like this in my throat and mouth for so long on top of this. Also it’s really expensive. What was I thinking?! I don’t recommend this blue bottled one.

Almost Perfect

When Listerine discontinued my go-to mouthwash I decided to try this one and I actually quite like it. I do feel like it helps with sensitive gums that can get irritated and/or bleed. When I used Listerine, the skin inside of my cheeks & lips would peel a lot after use and it was very irritating. Since I’ve switched to this one, I mostly don’t have that problem anymore. The only reason why I took off a star is because I feel like it could be a lot more minty and refreshing. It’s not minty enough for my liking and very shortly after using it I feel like my breath doesn’t feel super fresh. If they could make a more intense mint flavor for the gum health mouthwash it would get a full 5 stars from me. Bad side effects

My dentist diagnosed me with gum disease but otherwise I have white, healthy teeth. I researched for a gum disease-fighting mouthwash to add to my brushing and flossing routine. The Thera Breath "healthy gums" oral rinse claims of reduced gum bleeding and no burn are true but beware of the side effects! Within a month or so I noticed my bottom teeth beginning to turn brown (!!). Adding this oral rinse is the ONLY change I've made to my routine and diet in this period and I don't seem to have any other health issues. I did some research and the active ingredient in the rinse, cetylpyridinium chloride, is know to stain teeth. In a few weeks, I went from white teeth and wanting to turn up my oral care to feeling very self conscious of my now brown teeth. Clean Mint Is The Best!

Fresh! I ordered the smaller version but since it was out of stock they substituted it with the 1 Liter version which is very big! It is cheaper in the long run and truth be told, Clean Mint is the best Thera Breath option.If you have never tried Thera Breath mouthwash before, I recommend trying the Clean Mint as it is a great way to cleanse your mouth without feeling to strong. Also Thera Breath is free of alcohol and is non-burning.We also think that it helped one of our children who had gingivitis from getting worse since using it. The bottle advertises that it fights gingivitis for 24 hours and reduces the occurrence of gum disease and bleeding gums. Great mouthwash but mint is a little strong

I’m a long time user of TheraBreath. I’ve been using this brand for over 7 years now. Only have I strayed once from Therabreath’s Fresh Breath Oral Rinse Mild Mint and tried their Rain Forest Mint. Which I found was too strong for me. So I went back to my regular flavor. I was willing to give TheraBreath’s Healthy Gums a try because I love this brand. After rising it for more than two weeks, I will say my mouth always feels clean and my gums feel great. I will say, however, that the mint is as strong as the Rain Forest. I will be going back to my regular Mild Mint flavor. But I do 100% recommend this products along anything that the TheraBreath brand has to offer.

I'm a mouthwash user now!

I've never enjoyed using mouthwash because it has always burned my mouth, so it has always sat under my sink collecting dust, and only used in a pinch. This is THE first mouthwash that has actually been a pleasant experience. It does not burn, just a minor tingle on my tongue, which I can handle. I also love that it's clear - maybe it's a psychological thing, but I prefer the clear to the common blue and green ones. It just looks and feels cleaner. And thank you for no childproof cap. So much better to open and close, and doesn't make me feel like I'm taking a medication. This is now a part of my regular teeth cleaning routine - floss, brush, mouthwash. And I'm not sure if it's because of the mouthwash, but I have noticed my gums have been bleeding less. Not for me

Sadly this was a miss for my needs. I’m a SmartMouth user for over a year now and LOVE it. Sadly my local Target was out of stock so I figured I would try this brand. This particular formula is less focused on your breath and more on overall tooth health which is fine. I must have missed that when grabbing it. I speak to people all day and often times that leads to bad breath so in order to avoid chewing gum I relied heavily on SmartMouth. This rinse was the complete opposite, although the mint flavor was pleasant, it did very little in terms of long term breath control. In fact I would say it maintained fresh breath for about two hours which is an upgrade from Listerine or Scope. This also contains fluoride which makes very little sense considering how most toothpastes contain fluoride and so does our drinking water, adding the fluoride is kind of overkill. Fluoride in excess can cause white spots on your teeth and frankly that’s the opposite of a healthy looking smile. This mouth rinse does have its upsides though: no burning sensation, very little is needed to achieve the mouth protection it claims, it contains xylitol which has been proven to help restore tooth health and prevent cavities. It also leaves your mouth feeling smooth, like after oil pulling. Not sure if it’s some sort of oil (listed in the ingredients) but it’s pleasant. That would be a great feature for those with dry mouth, ulcers or broken gums as that additional glide prevents added friction. Sadly, it does nothing to keep that fresh clean mouth feel and that’s a deal breaker for me. I would still recommend this for those making the transition from Listerine or Scope but less for those looking for long term breath control.

Too Sweet, But Only Option for Fluoride Mouthwash

My first Therabreath mouthwash was mild mint and I was in love! However, I don’t really have a problem with bad breath and wanted a mouthwash for anti-cavity purposes. So I picked up the “Healthy Smile” line. After using it for about a week, I can say that I definitely prefer the mild mint flavor. This one was wayyyy to sweet for my liking. When I use mouthwash I want to feel clean, minty, and refreshed; not like I just chugged a bottle of bubblegum syrup.I’m unsure if I’m going to repurchased after I finish my bottle or if I’m going to look to another brand for anti-cavity mouthwash. If Therabreath comes out with a less sweet version with fluoride, I would definitely give it a try!

Totally Impressed

I absolutely love a mouthwash that does not burn and TheraBreath is that mouthwash. It's also done some pretty awesome things to my mouth and gums. I had some irritation from a chip poke to the gums (you know when you get poked behind your top front teeth with the corner of a chip and it hurts and inflames the whole roof of your mouth) and it usually lasts well over 4 days. I started using this the day after the irritation/inflammation started and within a day and a half, it was gone. Color me impressed. Also, I've noticed my breath is fresher and the freshness lasts longer than other mouthwashes I've used.
