This mat is slightly bigger both length and width compared to my last mat, which I'm sure is standard size. It's a great quality mat. The non slip on this works really well. Yes there is a smell, but it soon disappears. The bag is impractical to use, in that if you lean forwards, the matt will fall out (however tightly you fasten it in). Would have preferred a sturdy, over the shoulder net bag. Also would have been nice if it was available in other colours. Love the black, but on a yoga mat is so boring to stare at.

Been using this for last 5 months. Really liking it. Great size. Nice quality and great bag.Two small things if you are doing any type of hot yoga it can take a moment for the sweat to come off. Doesn't effect your grip but you can see the water outline even after cleaning.Second you like more cushion for your knees this isn't the mat for you.

I used to think a decent yoga mat was a 'nice-to-have' but since trying this, I now realise the error of my ways. The grip this mat gives is incredible. As the other reviews suggest, you can really focus on the moves you're doing rather than having to worry about slipping and sliding about. My *ONLY* qualm is that it does have a slightly fishy-rubbery smell to it. It's not enough to knock a star off as the smell is already fading but I did want to mention it. It also comes with a really well-designed carrier with an internal Velcro strap to hold the mat in place, and an external sling with shoulder straps AND two zip pockets. This is such a great yoga mat to take to classes. I've gone back to hot yoga and wanted to take my own mat rather than use the studio ones. It's great for travelling to classes. I would recommend.
I was a bit skeptical because of the price point, boy was I wrong! This is my new go too mat for comfort and performance. The quality, feel and grip (non-slip) make this a game changer. The carrying case is a total bonus.
Superior quality yoga mat. Good length and width. Super grip quality. The carry case is well made to enable you to carry the mat over your shoulder and has zip pockets either side. I would recommend this products.
I went through two (2) workout mats in the past year before I decided to jump in and purchase this one, because let’s face it, the price point is on the higher. All I can say is, if you’re hesitant cause of the price, take the leap and buy this mat...you won’t regret it! It is truly worth the investment! I love a HIIT work out and this mat it’s so sturdy that it allows me to do burpees, mountain climbers, jumping jacks without fear that it will slip and I will fall over. It’s wider than your standard mat and a bit thicker which makes lugging it around a bit heavy but it comes with a great accessories bag which securely fastens the mat in.
I was never sure if splurging on a yoga mat would be worth it or a waste of my money, but the frustration of always sliding and slipping out of downward dog was making regret doing yoga every time I took to the mat! So I took the plunge and am so happy I did, I don’t know why I waited so long! There is no slippage at all and it doesn’t make my palms sweaty, I feel like I can fully concentrate on the positions and feel far more capable at yoga and pilates because of it. The mat is fairly thick and slightly wider than your standard mat. It is also quite heavy but comes with a very sturdy carrier which makes it easy to take to classes.
