The air cooler was purchased for use on a LGA775 CPU. Research was done that indicated that this air cooler would be appropriate, however, the air cooler did not fit...

- The RGB slots are loose. They wont stay on the Motherboard RGB pins and even when I taped them down the connection is poor so they just flicker rapidly between default rainbow and whatever I currently assign as my Aurus color choice - Also the mounting system, though simple and easy to figure out takes a crazy amount of force to snap into place, I was concerned that the uneven distribution of force applied when snapping on the second bracket would damage the CPU or even snap the motherboard.

Bought this for my old AMD planform. A little bit heavy but it's a 120 mm fan. No complain.

COMES WITH THERMAL PASTE No other review tells you this specifically, i bought extra paste for no reason lol it's cute, i love the lights!!! it was SO HARD to install though because of my mother board needing the clips
Bought this for a build I was doing for a friend back in the motherland. It looks and works great
Really solid CPU cooler with a lot of compatibility for different socket types. I’m using mine on a B550 MOBO, paired with a R7 5800X3D and haven’t seen temps go above 73 degrees Celsius. Strong buy for a hot processor.
Cooling Fins are quite large/sharp and mounting clip is hard to attach without removing mother board from case. I couldn't water cool with my old case so i went this route. Keeps my overclocked 4790k CPU around 48 degrees Celsius. Cool colors are a bonus if your into that.
setting it up is hard. I couldn't attach the pins to the plastic socket. Instead I felt like I made a mess with thermal paste and almost damaged my processor. I don't recommend this at all.
I use this on a 10400f in a mid tower with a 6700XT right next to it and while gaming the temps stay around 60 degrees. I would expect this could handle anything up to a 5600x or 13600k
I have a i7 LGA1200 in my custom built gaming rig. While it does support the LGA1200 and my case the metal bracket on the bottom of the cooler is an actual pain in the butt. I don’t mind thermaltake products but this one is a nope for me. Couldn’t even get the darn thing to clip to the bracket. Spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting and making sure everything was properly set, even loosened the screws holding the bracket to the sink, then I gave up. Returned.
