If you put it on the wall unless you are standing a foot in front of it, you would miss it. I have it now by my lamp. I still have to really look to see it. Buyers beware

accuracy pretty good. Bought 4 (model PT-49) and all 4 tests showed Temps to be identical or within 0.2 F of each other. Humidity also similar but a bit more variance, all within 4% of each other. When compared to a Thermostat for calibration reference, the Temperatures were within 1 degree (usually lower than the thermostat). All in all, well performing accuracy with many other nice features (e.g., large size magnet on back for easier sticking) and free battery included.

This is a compact device with legible screen information. It is working perfectly; no regrets in purchasing it. (The single AAA battery which came with the device was 'dead'. No big deal. I replaced it -and it's working like a charm.)

I guess for years I thought about purchasing this type of product because I felt the air in the house was too dry especially with the heat on in the cold weather. The product not only gives me humidity reading but alerts me of the difference in temperature from room to room in the house. Haven't seen the readings with the air on in hot weather, but plan on learning more about the temp and humidity readings throughout the house when summer arrives. From my use, I would recommend this product to those interested. It is a good value and so far has proven to be a pretty good quality product too.
This thermometer is absolutely PERFECT for a brooder! I loved it so much that I went and purchased 4 more identical ones for other brooder layers. I like to keep 2 per brooder (one under the heater side and one under the non heater side) to make sure the chicks have at least one spot at ideal temp. I also have a camera in each brooder and can read the temp from my phone 24/7 no matter where I am. Thank you SO much!! I’ve gone through SO MANY thermometers before and this is the only one I LOVE! All the rest have gone in the trash or been returned.
I needed a gauge to keep track of how much humidity is in my house, because if it gets to low, I start itching a lot. I like to keep it about 60 percent. I decided to purchase this one because of the great reviews. It was shipped quickly and got here in 5 days. The temp part of the gauge worked, but the humidity part did not work. It stayed on 99% for 3 days straight. I called iTronics and told them what was going on. The man at their customer was very nice and helpful. He said that they would send me a replacement. I got it 8 days later. It works great! I must have just got a defective one the first time. I would highly recommend this gauge and this company.

I was looking for a thermometer that had a magnet that I needed to monitor the temps in the room. ThermoPro TP49 Thermometer works great in my room. Just a push of a small button on the backside changes from Celsius to Fahrenheit easily. Comes with a battery for each one. Recommended. Now I can know the temp in my room!
No big deal, it's a thermometer reasonably priced. I bought it mainly to check our only other thermometer (Furnace and AC Thermostat Thermometer). It agrees within a few tenths, so assume they are both correct. Interesting to see humidify in the house also (was in a healthy range). I also use it outside on the porch (not in a rain area) to check outside temperature as we do not have any other outside thermometer. It appears to be correct, but did question it the other day as it read 93F and TV for Knoxville (20 miles away) was showing upper 80sF. The thermometer was in the shade so not affected by direct sun.
Well, it was great, until it failed sometime last night after just 12 days. Found the digital display squirrely this morning; the various little digital thingies that make up the numbers were either absent here and there, or going on and off on their own. Worked great until it failed. I think it may just be a bad unit---it's digital. Overall, I like it, so I'm gonna try another one and see what happens.
