I use this carafe to keep hot, boiling water handy. It is well-made and keeps the water hot but not boiling hot for most of the daytime. Unfortunately, my craft only lasted for about six months because it didn’t keep the water hot anymore. Fortunately, I was able to get an exchange for a new one within the one year warranty.

We have a 20 year old Thermos carafe that will truly hold coffee hot for 24 hours. This one is advertised at 24hr hot but after about 6 hours my coffee isn't hot anymore. Not recommended by me

The lid broken after few months of use, very poor customer service when I was asked to pay for the postage to send back the product to claim my warranty. Not recommended disappointing product indeed, ever buy from this brand anymore

Excellent thermos carafe. Completely steel, which may have slightly less insulation quality then a glass lined thermos. Seals very tight, and sometimes it's difficult to pour because of the pressure build up. Quality seems good so far, but time will tell. We have gone through many carafes over the years, and I would say this is the best carafe so far.Oh, btw it keeps beverages warm for hours, which is what it supposed to do.
I bought this carafe to use for Turkey gravy. I prepared it as instructed by pouring hot water into it and letting it sit for a few minutes. I then poured all of my turkey gravy into it. It poured beautifully. Best alternative to a gravy boat ever. Used it at the table. Looked nice. Gravy HOT like everyone likes it and held all of the gravy from the pot i made it in. You will not need to get up and down for refills. I put carafe in the fridge afterwards and i kid you not the gravy was still warm in the late morning when i went to put it in tupperware. Truly amazing. Highly recommend. Paid full price for it as Canadian Tire flyers can be tricky and was drawn to it because i thought it was on sale but went too early i guess for the Boxing Day price. I like the capacity of this carafe, however it does not keep coffee as hot as I had expected. I have a few Thermos bottles (smaller capacity) that are much better at keeping coffee hot for much longer than this one, even though they are more than 20 years old. The lid does not screw on as tight as it needs to which is why I think it loses heat.
Very sleek-looking, with nice finish. It keeps our tea nice and hot for several hours. We haven’t been able to try the 24-hour test (as advertised on the label) because we drink lots of tea, so have to refill it often. :)
This is a replacement for a Thermos Stainless Steel Vacuum insulated Carafe (slightly different design) which I had for over 20 years and which was lost in a fire last fall. It keeps beverages hot or cold for extended periods as advertised and I was actually excited when I found this replacement for the carafe which was lost.
This thermos is great. I can fill it with boiling water in the morning, and the water stays hot enough for coffee and tea all day. Sure beats boiling a kettle each time!
I bought this carafe in November 2022 and it’s been very good until recently after five months of home use for hot water only. A couple weeks ago we noticed that the carafe as nor keeping its contents hot, and later noticed that the sides of the carafe was very hot once boiling water was pour into it. Clearly, there was a leak inside that allow the liquid to leak inside the insulating walls.I brought the carafe back to Canadian Tire today with my original receipt and the store honoured the one year warranty and exchanged it for a new one which will have warranty for the remaining seven months only. Hopefully this replacement carafe will not have any problems. If it does, I hope it will happen within the next seven months while it is still in warranty!
