Thermos 290ml Funtainer Insulated Food Jar - Pink

These Thermos live up to everything they claim. They keep the food warm up to 5 hours and they are a good size to take to school for warm food in winter. Definitely need to preheat the container with hot water for 10 minutes before hand, 5 minutes is not long enough to keep the food warm for 5 hours. I am happy with these.

I bought this brand as it's supposed to be a large, reputable company. I bought 2 of these and they DO NOT keep food warm, unless it's majority liquid. It doesn't say anywhere, on their merchandise or in the leaflet enclosed that you CANT use it to keep dry foods warm. I did call the company and was told there was nothing they could do, even though the product is not doing what it's supposed to do. I expected much better customer service for a company that's this well known and can honestly say that the worst company I have ever dealt with. If you want something that actually keeps your food warm, Look for another brand, as doesn't even keep liquids hot for long.

My kids love these containers. The lid is easy to operate. My 3 and 6 year olds can open and shut the containers by themselves. I also love that Thermos sells replacement straws. My son is a chewer and we have to replace the straw at least once a year. So much better than buying a completely new container! My only complaint is that the red Minnie item pictured was not what we received. We got a pink Minnie and Daisy bottle. My girls were fine with it, but buyer beware.
