These Thermos live up to everything they claim. They keep the food warm up to 5 hours and they are a good size to take to school for warm food in winter. Definitely need to preheat the container with hot water for 10 minutes before hand, 5 minutes is not long enough to keep the food warm for 5 hours. I am happy with these.

We have only ever tried to use it to keep food warm. However we have discovered that food goes cold within 3 hrs, not "upto 5 hrs" as stated on the product. Unfortunately, in my experience, this is still better than other brand products.

I purchased the FUNtainer food jar for my 10 year old, she absolutely loves the whimsical clouds design. She uses it every day at school and any leftover food is still warm when she returns home from school in the afternoon. It is the best thermos I have ever purchased.

My 4yr-old really likes this cute food jar. Colors are vibrant and doesn’t seem like the paint would chip off easily. Don’t think food like rice stays warm as when prepared, but at least I know it won’t be too cold either. Planning to purchase similar ones as gifts in the future, esp. when they go on sale for $20.
Very good to take out and about. Small enough for school lunches or baby/toddler food. Haven’t tried keeping food cold yet but it did a good job keeping it warm. Kids love the designs too.

I bought these to replace cheap ones I had bought. I would preheat with boiling water juuuuust before we left for school and heat the food to nuclear temperature and the food would barely be warm by lunch. I did the same thing to these containers and I had all three kids come back and say their soup was too hot to eat! They are really that good. They don't have any built in spoon like my last ones, but I have binned the old ones and kept the handy spoon. Kids take leftover pasta, soups, rice, stir frys to school and love it. They're a pretty good serving size too, the lid makes them look smaller than my cheap ones.

Such a wonderful product. Easy to clean. Keeps food hit and cold for many hours. Lasts many years too my son still uses his!
Happy little girl. My daughter loves hot lunches. She says it’s keeps her hot food hot until lunch break at 11. I usually heat up what she’s having in the microwave for 3 minutes at 6:30am add it to the thermos. Only negative, it would be nice if it came with a spoon like the other thermos. I’m saying that, I think most children would misplace this.
