The reason why I bought this insulated food jar is to store a hot lunch: a soup, a stew, or a curry. At 470mL volume, this is a good size. Any larger would be unnecessary. The selling point for this product is the included spoon. This is good quality and long enough to reach the bottom of the jar. Although I have not used this product yet, so long as it keeps food hot for lunch, I consider this product an excellent design.

Great thermos for keeping food warm. We selected this brand as we were looking for something which would keep food warmer for longer than 4hrs and this has not disappointed. Ended up getting 2 one for my husband for work and one for my son to take to school. The inbuilt spoon on top is fantastic and saves packing extra cutlery. Would definitely recommend this product to others.

These little flasks are fantastic. I purchased them for my daughter for school. I have put hot spaghetti in & it is still warm at lunch. On hot days I cut an icy pole in half, put some ice cubes around it & it is still frozen at lunchtime. I put the base in the dishwasher & hand wash the 2 lids & spoon. I have noticed the silver top lid does get water inside it when washing so try not to submerge. It is a great product & I can see why Thermos has been a well known brand for so many years.

The original Thermos brand products are fantastic. We stocked up on them during a recent large sale and love all the pieces we got. These will be used primarily for day trips and overnight camping trips while attending sporting events and activities. If you preheat the container first (but filling with boiling water) the food will stay hotter longer. We noticed that it was still lukewarm after about 20 hours which was perfect for when we needed it. If I had heated the food in the microwave to a hotter temperature first it would have stayed hotter longer. Love these products
Only reason I’m not giving a 5 star is because the rubber stopper in the lid of one of the bowls fell off and now there’s a hole that heat escapes from when I put food in. It shouldn’t be so easy to come off in the first place. It’s so lose that food or dishwashing liquid gets trapped in there a lot. Other than that, this is a good food jar because it keeps hot longer. I used it to keep my nb baby bottles warm on the go and also chill expressed bm when I am not close to home to refrigerate. Now my husband uses it to take his lunch to work, and because he does not like to use the microwave at work, he takes his food warm from home and it stash that way till he’s ready to eat.
I loooove this thermos. I use it daily for work. 4 stars cus the seal is the weak point (wear n tear!) and replacement o rings are not easily available, so had to buy a whole new thermos instead. Pitty of the stainless steel material waste and money.. I will see if their customer service can source o rings.It is an awesome thermos for a good cup of tea!Louisa
A cute little carry thermos, probably isn't big enough from a volume perspective to carry enough for a meal for me though. I made a batch of tomato sauce for some pasta I made for a party and this jar was just too small to carry all of it, but also is too big for a single serving of sauce? probably can't use it for anything beyond soups and congee and it's only suitable from a single person use perspective. But can't really fault it otherwise! The only other thing that comes to mind is that the sticker was hard to remove on the bottom and made it a bit dirty.
Fantastic Thermos Flasks. They stand up to their reputation, very attractive and keeps the food hot or cold for many hours. Purchased them for my Children and my Husbands lunches. I put all kinds of things in them, such as soup, noodles, dumplings, casserole, curry and tea and coffee. My Children and my Husband love it. No leak, nifty little cup to drink from and I got two that come with a fold up spoon that fits into the lid. Easy clean stainless steal interior. Loooove it!
This product is a cracker! I thought I would give it a go with some hot dogs. I followed the instructions and made sure the product had boiling water in it for at least 10 minutes. Emptied the water and filled it with new boiling water and cooked hot dogs. 12 hours later, wallah! they were still HOT and ready for eating. Even with coffee, it is still hot many hours later.
We were initially extremely happy with this purchase because it worked great and kept food warm up and through lunchtime. BUT…. The containers are said to be microwavable yet the containers began to melt from the heat of the food. To top this off there doesn’t appear to be any options to replace them. The reason why I purchased this was because of the container options to keep food separate. Now I have one container and can’t really use this anymore which is disheartening. I’ve never had microwavable plastic containers melt like these ones did so it’s extremely disappointing.
