I bought 3 of these for my kids school lunches. I went for the plain coloured, slightly larger option so the kids would not grow out of them (over the theme patterned smaller version).The kids love the spoon with the 2 folds, and its reaches the bottom of the thermos easily.The blue version is darker than I expected but it still looks great.Overall a great option for school lunches!

Ocado?s description says food stays hot for 9 hours or cold for 14 hours? but the glossy sleeve on the outside says it keeps hot for 14 hours and keeps cold for 24 hours. The tiny instruction sheet inside doesn?t specify. It only says not to leave food inside for longer than 24 hours; contents including tomato and dairy may spoil sooner than 24 hrs. Keep the tiny instruction sheet, located inside, if you think you will want to make a claim in the future on the ten year warranty. Some instructions are as expected e.g. handwash only, no carbonated drinks or dry ice, and do not put in any type of oven etc. For maximum thermal efficiency, preheat or prechill prior to use by filling with either hot or cold water, ... MoreI received this free from Ocado in return for a review. Ocado says the height is 18.3cm, sorry I make it 18.8cm. Sharing in case useful if you?re trying to fit it in a very small space. The smallest inner dimension is 6cm; as other reviewers have stated, this makes it easier to clean. It's the usual Thermos good quality, so I would certainly recommend.

These little flasks are fantastic. I purchased them for my daughter for school. I have put hot spaghetti in & it is still warm at lunch. On hot days I cut an icy pole in half, put some ice cubes around it & it is still frozen at lunchtime. I put the base in the dishwasher & hand wash the 2 lids & spoon. I have noticed the silver top lid does get water inside it when washing so try not to submerge. It is a great product & I can see why Thermos has been a well known brand for so many years.
