An excellent travel mug.

The King Travel Mug is excellent. It keeps hot drinks at a drinkable temperature for around 12 hours. Ive never had my two mugs leak - even when subjected to heavy off-roading! They are designed well and they ar easy to clean. A really excellent purchase. Yes, they are expensive - but they will last for a long time too.

Best at Keeping Hot Hot and Cold Cold

Had my first one for eight years and it still works great. Took it everywhere including using it in beverage holder on bicycle. After all those years of use/abuse, it has collected a number of dents and earlier this year the black paint began to peel off the stainless exterior, most likely due to the number of washings. It has a positive lock "Open or Close" position. Whenever I have dropped it on the table or floor in the Closed position it did not leak at all. A few times I admittedly have knocked it over in the Open position, and the liquid does of course leak out albeit rather slowly. I have learned to keep it in the Closed position to not only prevent leaks but to keep it hot or cold longer. Coffee stays hot at least 5 hours if you only twist the lid to Open position when drinking. I love this feature! My wife bought me a shiny new one for Christmas which I use for "special occasions" (e.g., company visiting, taking it to a meeting with other people, etc.). Still use the old one almost everyday around the house and to take in the car. I handwash the lid by disassembling it (easy to do; just three pieces in total including the locking "nut") after 3-5 uses when drinking coffee. Have never lost anything; just always fill sink partway with soapy water and put pieces in it. Have tried a number of other thermal mugs (not Thermos brand) and they just don't keep the hot hot or the cold cold anywhere near as well as this one.

No more wasted tea! This stylish Thermos keeps drinks hot for hours on end. Looks great and seals perfectly as I found out when it went through the x-ray machine at the airport - on it's side! The one i bought about 7 years ago is so beat up it hardly stands up on ots own anymore. I replaced the gaskets about 3 years ago as it started seeping slightly. I finally decided to get a new one as my original was still working gteat but so beat up. This mug keeps things nice and hot for about 3 hours, warm enough for about 5. The thing I like about it is how rugged it is. None of the plastic lid parts are exposed so when i drop it or it falls, which I have done often, it wont break the lid. You do need to pay attention when you clean it. I usually take the lid apart and the gaskets off and clean them really well about once a week even though I wash it daily without taking it apart. You will know that the gaskets are failing because you'll start hearing air seep out when you screw the lid down and close the lid with a hot beverage in the mug. The gasket sets are easy to replace and they come in a two pack for just a few dollars. My first set lasted about four years and the second one I put on is still working on my original. Overall this is an awesome mug, very tough and rugged. It's not the most pretty one in the world but if you need a tough one because you're not an office dweller and you like the outdoors and don't want to have to worry about something hitting the ground even when it's full of your favorite beverage then this is the one for you.

I've been looking for a couple of years for the perfect drink container when I am doing yard work. I have over two acres and use a JD 1025R to mow with. This does really fit in the drink holder, BUT, it does sit in a pocket on the fender and it's not going to go anywhere. I pop the top and have me a CLEAN, COLD drink whenever I need one. Does not leak or sweat. Got the silver one so it will standout in the yard if dropped by accident I have not tried a longevity test for cold or hot beverages, I don't need it for that. But I can tell you, I'll fill it with a cold sports drink of my choosing and then put some ice in it. I'll be in the yard for hours on end and the ice looks as fresh as it did when I put it into there and have zero watered down drink. Leakproof Thermos travel mug

Far as I know, this the only leakproof mug that has a lid you don’t have to remove to drink. Good at keeping things hot, but really it’s all about being spill proof. The set of gaskets for the lid is annoying to have to disassemble for cleaning but necessary and worth it. I’ve had no less than six over the last ten years (two of these on 6 hour plus road trips is a must for me, one gets tucked sideways between the car seats) and the parts are interchangeable. The lid spring eventually wears out over maybe 4-5 years but that’s an ok lifespan for a travel mug. Pricey.

This travel mug surpassed my expectations. It keeps the drink hot for long hours and I've got burned a few times because my coffee didn't cool down enough to drink.The design is smooth and sleek and the leak-proof system works perfectly. I only had one issue when I took it apart for cleaning and didn't put one of the gaskets in the correct position and it started leaking. I watched a tutorial on Youtube and the problem was solved.This is the best Travel Cup I have ever had so far. Great product, comfortable grip. I hope it is durable too.

I'm not going to care either way, and I can't imagine it's going to affect performance much, if at all. It's not totally leak proof, but it's pretty good about leaks. If the seals are seated correctly and the lid is screwed on tight, it won't leak, but if not, you might get a few drops to spill out. I use this for cold brew coffee, and I shake the thing like crazy after I fill it; the worst that's ever happened was a few drops spilling out by the hinge on the lid. Overall, it's good. You can remove the seals and clean in there just fine, but there's seams and crannies deep in the cap that you might not even notice for awhile. Very difficult to get at. Reduced to 2 stars from 3.
