Thermos - Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Hydration Bottle 530ml Midnight Blue

I love these Thermos bottles. Super easy to use, and it's amazing how long they keep my drinks cold. I've been buying them and using them constantly since I discovered them about 5 years ago. I take mine everywhere. I tend to eventually break them by repeatedly dropping them, usually breaking the plastic lid. Usually I drop them getting in and out of my car. Each one lasts me about a year, and I'm sure they would last a lot longer if I was more careful :) Anyway, great value, and I expect I will keep buying and using them into the foreseeable future.

I had one of these for a few years and used it every day... I even managed not to lose it on a four week backpacking trip through the Yucatan and Chiapas in February. It survived drops and mishaps, never leaking, and keeping my water fresh and cold all day. Then I had a family funeral to attend up in Timmins in March, and well, I forgot it there. Having it shipped to me would have cost the same or more than buying a new one.I've shopped around, and no other thermos compares as far as convenience goes. I like the one hand operation (press the button, and the lid pops open), perfect for when you're driving, cycling, etc., and it clicks shut in one motion. Other thermoses are either too slow (meant for sipping), or more commonly too fast, with large openings prone accidental spillage down your chin and shirt. You know what I'm talking about, lol. (I realize there are other options, ones with straws for example, but I don't like them.)So.... with no luck finding a suitable replacement for my lost thermos, I finally went to Canadian Tire yesterday and was delighted to find the exact same one on sale. Yay, hurray!!! Everything feels right again! :-)

I use this thermos to share coffees that are new to me and my friends. We drink them in a large park and it is important the coffee be suitably hot. To my pleasant surprise, the thermos keeps the made at home coffee quite hot over hours of storage. The last coffee we shared was a Tanzanian Peaberry.
