This is a cute little new era Thomas the train figure that comes with 3 cars: the train, a crane, and a caboose. It’s battery powered so it will move on its own around the place and can be turned on and off with a little switch on top of the train car. Batteries are not included, but installation is easy enough.

If you have a train loving child like mine, they will love this train set! We could not get this out of the box fast enough. My son loves that it comes with 2 train cars behind the engine. He loves to follow the train all around the house. We do not have any tracks yet but that didn’t stop my 3 year old from enjoying it at all. This train works best on hardwood floors but it did run well even on carpet. I loved how easy it was to access the batteries and we have already had to replace them as it gets so much use! My son likes that he can easily detach the train cars and reattach them if he wants to. The quality of this toy is wonderful and it is very sturdy. My 4 year old likes playing with this motorized train. It is very sturdy and fun to play with. It is very fast, which my son loves. The colors are bright. My son likes playing with this train along with his other Thomas the train wooden trains

My son loves that it drives itself. It works on both hard floors and carpet. It does use batteries fast but I think it’s cause my son left it on it has already died and needed new batteries. I wish the two cars that it tows the cargo was glued in because we have already lost the cargo. If your kids love trains they will love this toy.
Used the motorized train on hard wood floor. With batteries in, the trail glides nicely on hard surfaces. The detachable crane works to lift the little train. The little train can lift but will topple the main train if crane is fully extended even with batteries in.
This is the first time I have seen the muddy friends! My son absolutely loves this muddy Thomas and this fits right in there with it! Not only is it cute but it functions on multiple types of track as well making it versatile for playing. They are easy to connect as well as disconnect and are great tools for a child to use their imagination! My son has even convinced his sisters to play with him with these.
The product looks exactly as it is pictured. I like that the crane hook could be taken off or switched to a different rail car. My 3 year old likes the toy because it’s battery powered, but it didn’t hold his attention as much as I thought it would. In summary, it’s a good toy that’s pretty and vibrant in color.
I have 2 Thomas the tank toys. They each have an engine and two train cars. When I opened these and videoed my grand children playing with them it was hard to get a video of each as the kids were having so much fun with them. They would turn them on and let them go across the floor and as one was sent they would work together to get the other one on it’s way. Needless to say but they play with these all the time and love them.
My 3 year old grandson loves the additional train set for his Crystal Caves Adventure Set. There are a variety of Thomas train sets. This set has the Thomas engine with two train attachments. The train engine is covered with mud and cacti. The engine requires 2 AAA batteries. The flat train car has a crystal. Then there is a hopper train car with rocks. The set fits the Adventure Sets tracks perfectly.
I was not a big fan of the train, my did not last very long with my toddler, with in minutes the lever to turn on and off the train did not function properly. Unless you already have a track to function with this train then you really cant do much with it. Usually my toddler eats sleeps and wont let go of all his new toys , but with this one he lost interest with in a day
