It’s a great toy great because it’s a fun set to play with and hear the engines and cranky talk to each other and the train goes on its own. Easy to set up and it is good that you can set the track up in different ways. I also like that you can add to it as well. Only downside for us was it is doesn’t always stay off as you only press the button to turn it off sometimes it would just randomly start making a sound. But other than that an over all brilliant toy.

This Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Talking Cranky Train Set has been an absolute hit with my daughter! It has provided endless hours of entertainment and imaginative play for her.The attention to detail in this train set from Thomas himself to Cranky, has really captured my little girls imagination.She was absolutely thrilled when she discovered that the characters could actually verbalize phrases from the show. The quality of the sound effects and the voices of the characters are perfectly clear.The tracks also fit perfectly with another train set that we purchased her from the Thomas & friends range.

This toy is brilliant for any child who loves trains but especially if they love Thomas. My son has only turned 4 years and loves this track. He can put the track together himself but needs help with the layout. The Thomas is really good as it moves around the track but the best bit is it interacts with Cranky. It’s easy to set up and store away, it’s busy robust for little ones to play with. The trains are easy for little hands to operate. We brought another set as the tracks fit together and the trains do different things. I love that all the characters fit on the same track. My children have been playing with this track for days. Brilliant for all children regardless of age (even the adults).

My little boy loves this. Especially using the motorized Thomas & Friends engines which aren't too expensive to get extra characters. All the parts talk to each other and there's a lot of creative options they can have the track in and it's very interactive for them to.The only thing that is a bit annoying is there isn't a way to turn it off. It doesn't constantly go off but sometimes you can forget the train is running and it runs the battery down. Other than that, really well made, robust and easy to put together and to disassemble to put away too. Love it!
This will keep kids entertained for long periods. We haven't even heard all 325 songs and sayings yet. Kids will learn many new songs and dance as well as play as some songs are becoming their favourites.Can use all talking and non talking engines so cranky can be visited by any children's favourites old or new.It uses AA and AAA batteries but ones already inside work just fine.The children didn't want to stop playing when time to say goodbye. Little 5 year old said 'This is the best train set ever'Old and new talking trains work with this set.
The thomas the tank engine train track gave our kids hours of play. They would set thomas off and one would work the terminal, stopping and starting and the other would sit on the other side loading the cargo. Great interactive play which they both enjoy for hours. They learnt about railway switchs to move the train along different routes too. Great fun
My daughter loves this- I know the age is 3+ but my daughter is quite mobile/understanding- she loves pressing the red button on Thomas to make him move (although a bit nervous to pick him up if he gets knocked off the track because of the noise of the motor/wheels). She loves going over and watching him going round and moving the crane and asking me to use the grabber to pick up the ball or cargo boxes.Thomas and the crane do interact with each other but not always at the stopping point which is sometimes a little confusing for me but she doesn’t notice.I like that you can add on extra tracks too.It’s easy to assemble, I did it with her around and loveeee that batteries were already included!!
This interactive train and track set is brilliant for my little one. It plays songs too, which is an added bonus. My little boy loves the talking characters. It really keeps him occupied and has been playing with it for hours. It's an adventure on a track. His favourite has to be talking Thomas that races around the track!
