I have been using the Thompson's brand St John's Wort 4000 for 4 months now, and it is just amazing. Originally I started with a different brand, and it took about 3 to 4 weeks for the effects to fully kick in. With the other brand I had difficulties swallowing the tablet and nearly gave up until I tried the Thompson's brand. No issue in swallowing, no side effects, and I can stay away from the prescribed medications. I take two tablets a day, morning and night, and this definitely takes the 'feeling fragile' to 'I can cope'. I wish I could have discovered this many years ago.

Great quality. You can swallow it as directed, but I prefer to let it dissolve under my tongue as I don't mind the bitter taste. This gives a quicker effect, and I also can recognise the slightly numbing effect in the mouth, proving it is the right thing. I take it only when I need it, so there is no need to cycle it, that can be during the day when I have a wave of anxiety or in the middle of the night when I have insomnia. Works magics.

Having suffered sciatic nerve pain on and off for a few years now after an injury out of curiosity I googled if any herbs etc were supposed to help while suffering with a patch of bad pain. The results were that St John's Wort is supposed to help, so with not much to loose and with the other added benefits I thought I'd give St John's Wort a go. My sciatic pain has cleared up with only the slightest ****** now and then, I can't say 100% that it's been the St John's Wort because as I've said my sciatic pain would come and go but I would recommend to anybody with sciatic pain to give St John's Wort a try.
Have been taking these for over a month now and don’t feel as down (I can’t take antidepressants as they make me feel far worse so thought I’d try the natural antidepressant). Am also taking a lot of other vitamins that I hadn’t been before so don’t know how much the results are based on this or the others I’m taking. Convenient that it’s one a day.
These Thompson’s One-a-day St John’s Wort are excellent. I had noticed mood swings during COVID and decided to start taking St John’s Wort again to help with the problem. Initially I told another branded lower dose tablet but wasn’t happy with the results. I did some research and found theses higher dose tablets which have definitely been helping me to maintain a smoother mental plain. An excellent product.
started taking these for PMDD experimentally after reading good reviews. Dizzy and feeling really irritable for the first few days so did some more research and seems 4000mg is an extremely high dose?! so I experimented with chopping up the tablets (they hold their shape well when in pieces) and I now take 1/4 a tablet twice a day instead of a whole 4000mg at once. Now feel great 2 weeks in and hoping it continues to work for me because according to my pms cycle I would usually be feeling the pits the past couple of days. so very happy overall!
