I have to take 1000mg of vitamin B12 every day for pernicious anemia and after trying several brands this one is far superior to any of the 6 or 7 other brands I've tried. It also works well and my levels are exactly where they should be on just one of these every morning dissolved in my mouth. Great taste.

I was diagnosed with pernicious anemia, and had to submit to 3 monthly B12 shots at my GP. Vitamin B12 deficiency is common among older people, and is dangerous. I read that B12 taken under the tongue (sub-lingually) was equally effective. I discussed this with my GP, who confirmed this after doing his own detailed research. Sub-lingual works better than simply swallowing, as some people (like me) are unable to absorb it through their gut. A beneficial effect is that sleep is longer and more sound. My wife has followed suit, and she finds too that she is sleeping better.The Thompson brand seems to work better than the others on the market. It dissolves in a couple of minutes under the tongue, and is pleasant tasting
