The Thor Surge Protection Boards exceed specifications in regards to clamping voltage, reaction time, energy dissipation etc compared to other surge protection boards that i have researched. They are more expensive than other boards but they are worth the extra money if you are going to protect expensive appliances and devices.

Unfortunately this device will not remove spikes from transformer devices like ceiling fans and Xmas lights. This is in relation to a 65" Sony OLED TV. To be fair, a small UPS didn't filter the spike also.
