Thule Urban Glide 3 Double

The Urban Glide 3 arrived needing minimal assembly. The instructions are easy to understand drawings of what to do. I had no problems putting it together on my own. It is compact enough to get through door frames. My 2 years old and older child both fit comfortably in the seats. The canopy on each seat extends very far for excellent sun protection. Each seat has an individual recline option. Under the seats is a very large section of storage. I love that it has a zip on cover so people can not see what is in the stroller when we are in a public seating. I can maneuver this stroller with one hand easily. It is easy to push even in thick grass. This is the perfect all purpose double stroller. With 3 children under 5, I need something that is sturdy, reliable, comfortable, and easily used in multiple settings. This stroller is good for walks on urban streets as well as over more rural areas, like when hiking. The large air-pumped wheels make it such a smooth ride for both the kids riding and the adult pushing. I was expecting it to be extremely heavy but I was pleasantly surprised in that regard. It’s definitely no lightweight travel stroller but it has such an easy push that the weight seems to carry itself, even with the kids inside. A few things stood out to me right away about this stroller! The buckles!! Instead of a confusing 4 different straps that have to be puzzle pieced together while trying to strap in a squirming baby, it’s an easy 2-click buckle!! The straps are also padded making it extra comfortable for baby. The other thing I loved was the covered under storage! No more worrying about things getting dirty or falling out during your walks. I also love the grip on the handlebars and the fact that they adjust to different heights. The black on black look is so sleek! And it prevents it from getting as dirty. The only thing I would consider in this stroller as a “negative” would be the higher profile fold and weight for traveling. However, I don’t plan on traveling much with this, as most people have a more compact stroller for airplane or long road trips. This stroller is amazing! My kids love it and they fight over who gets to sit in it. They have great add on accessories. We already ordered the rain cover and that will be a really nice bonus. This stroller will last years.

Almost perfect, but one annoying flaw

We have had this for about a month now and it has been nearly perfect. Rolls wonderful, the "ottoman" feature for our 8 month old is nice so his legs don't oddly hang off. The drum handbrake is far more handy than I thought it would be. The ergonomic design of the push handle is far superior to the Bob. However, We are ridiculously frustrated with how the canopies are attached to the frame. It uses large plastic clips that attach to the aluminum frame and they are constantly popping off. (photos attached) The sunshade on a Bob jogger is more permanently attached and we never had a problem with our Bob single jogger. These are just annoying. They are finicky to clip back on, especially on the double where each side attaches to single center beam. Awesome Double Stroller

This stroller is awesome. I did some research on almost all brands and came down to this from previous reviews and I am so glad I did. I have not traveled on an airplane with this yet, but I don't see it being an issue. I used it on snow and it pushed so nicely, hopefully does the same with sand (haven't used it yet on sand). Its pretty easy to fold and it stands up. I did watch a few review videos and some people complained about folding it and putting it your car, taking the wheels off, but I have not had to do that yet- this stroller has gone in the back of a pick up truck and escape and fits fine with wheels on. Thule has wonderful customer service. They are exceptional! My husband and I had bought the Urban Stroller for our twins but we were misguided on the fact that it does not hold both car seats next to each other. So we found out that we were unable to use it and it did not fit our needs for our twins. After purchasing with a military discount, I was at first unable to return and you can imagine the frustration after such a big purchase. However I spoke with the customer service and explained what had happened. They were able to fix the the problem that same day! We were refunded the entire amount. Unexpected wonderful service! Multiple Issues

We’ve had this for a little over a year and I believe it is poorly designed, malfunctioning, and breaking.We’ve had to replace the inner tubes on the tires nearly a dozen times. There is something fundamentally wrong happening. The tires are inflated to the recommended pressure, are facing the correct direction, and every couple weeks we get a flat. We’re walking on sidewalks, in fine condition, only 1-2 miles at a time at most.Additionally, the rain cover doesn’t fit well. All the Velcro connections come apart and it seems stretched to its maximum limit and they pop apart and don’t stay closed. Locking the front wheel means you can’t steer the stroller, so we leave it unlocked and free to move, but then the wheel occasionally gets caught sideways and drags.Note: I also submitted this review to Thule's website directly, and they moderated it and did not post the review, saying it "did not meet their website guidelines". So I fear they are filtering out any negative reviews.

My only regret is not buying it sooner.

I have 2 boys aged 1 & 3. I have been eyeing this stroller since finding out I was pregnant with my second, but keep holding off because of the price tag. I finally decided to splurge and I have been so incredibly happy with it. The errands I used to dread doing have now become enjoyable. I have started walking, hiking & jogging nearly every day as the Thule urban glide double makes it not only comfortable but genuinely easy to push around nearly 70lbs combined of toddlers! The boys absolutely love it and are always so excited to get in the stroller rain or shine.If you have been considering purchasing, bite the bullet and get it as this stroller is not only the best stroller you will ever find, but truly opens the door for a better life.
