Tippy, expensive, and a poor design, the Thule Yepp Nexxt2 Maxi will be returned from our household. My feet constantly hit the bottom of this thing unless I move my feet forward on the pedals and out of the correct riding position (I ride with flats). It also renders your pannier frame useless to carry any bags beneath it, so how am I supposed to take my son's stuff to daycare when I drop him off, or bring my work stuff? With a backpack getting my back all sweaty like an undergrad? No thanks, that's why I have a rack in the first place, to keep stuff off my back, plus I don't want to smack him in the face with with it. This would be fine if you are just literally riding from home and back and not planning on stopping anywhere. Save your money and get a trailer.

I'd not know it even with instructions. I don't think one can justify the return policy by saying it's a child safety product. The seat is great, but we didn’t realize that it would be incompatible with panniers. If I had known that I would have chosen frame mounted.

The seat is great, but we didn’t realize that it would be incompatible with panniers. If I had known that I would have chosen frame mounted.
Loads of effort gone into this product but one big design flaw ruins it. The spoke guards are lined up with the pedal so you catch them with your foot on each rotation. I can just about use it but have to have it as high as it will go which makes it really wobbly...but there are loads of reviews on other sites of people saying they can't use theirs at all. Wouldn't recommend.

I purchased this seat because it is recommended for the type of bike I have, Yuba. It fits great and was easy to install.
Great bike seat. Feels really secure on the rack. The strap system seems really sturdy and not undoable by little hands. The seat element also seems stronger than others whilst still being lightweight.The only negative about this seat is that as it is rack mounted it can be quite bumpy. Better for use on roads than tracks.
Fits perfectly on the Aventure 2. Im happy that I can share my joy for bike riding with my kids.
