The Aluminium Toolbox I purchased is very good, and of a size that will do the job I intended for it with no fear of rust degradation in the future, as it will be mounted on the front of my Box Trailer to carry my ratchet straps, gloves, wheel brace and other chosen items.

Installed on the draw bar of my new caravan and is a Great little space for stowing my battery out of harms way.

Build quality is fairly good. Very light weight and looks awesome. Not waterproof at all, so get yourself some silicone. Also, had to buy 3 different padlocks before I got one that fit on the Croc-loc latch. It says it accommodates 40mm - 50mm padlocks, but the 50mm Master padlock's body was too thick and the 50mm Lockwood one's shank was too thick. Best bet is a 40mm Lockwood.

| Lockable | Yes (Clasps snap closed with Croc-Loc padlock protectors) |

Although large toolboxes are nice, sometimes they aren't ideal, either from an organisation standpoint, or simply just to reduce the amount of space it consumes on the tray. That's where this 48 litre aluminium checkerplate Thunderbox comes into play, fit one for compact storage, or combine two to create a compartmentalised storage solution for a larger work vehicle. The tough checkerplate finish also helps to reduce scratches and dents that might impinge upon the toolboxes presentably and lifespan, while a Croc-Loc padlock protector has been fitted to the snap closing lid for ultimate security.
