Thursday Plantation - Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne - 25 G

I came upon this product many years ago now after visiting the Thursday Plantation site. At my age in the early 60s, I don't suffer a lot of acne but on the odd occasion that one does pop up, I just reach for this product. \n\nWhen you open it you are refreshed with the beautiful but strong fragrance of tea tree oil and the gel is clear. The gel is very light too.\n\nI just apply by rubbing a little bit on the pimple or even a blackhead if I see on of them hiding under my skin. The next day, you can see the pimple decreasing in size. It is Australian made so another bonus. \n\nIt is the only product I would use for acne, blackheads or those blind pimples too. Works a treat. \n\n

If you are looking for alternatives for your acne that don't use harsh chemicals then I would definitely recommend using the tea tree medicated gel. Tea tree oil in general is great for combating acne as it's anti bacterial and even though it will dry out the pimple it wont dry out your skin. I use a little bit on my face whenever I get a random breakout and although it wont work instantly I find that it does get smaller everyday that I use it. The good thing about it is that it doesn't cause any irritation and it's not as harsh as other acne products which can really dry out your face or cause redness.

I bought this product for my son who still gets the occasional pimple. I love that this is all natural as I hate our family putting chemicals onto skin for things like acne. Tea tree oil is a fabulous product for acne and drying out pimples b cause of it’s antibacterial properties. This product is clear so you don’t notice it and it works quite quickly to heal pimples. This is great value for money and a little goes a long way so it lasts for ages. It also won’t irritate sensitive skin. Overall a great product I would buy again and recommend

Great product to put on pimples. I put this at night and by the next day the the swelling is almost gone. It has a subtle tea tree scent and feels very refreshing on the skin and soaks in almost instantly. Highly recommended 😬

Definitely and honestly can state that this product works really well! Apply overnight and in the morning you can see that the size of your pimple has significantly decreased. Some people may experience a slight burning sensation as different skins react differently, but it is still worth a try :)

Great Smell, But Didn't Really Work for Me

This gel is clear but thick. As soon as you squeeze the tube you can smell the wonderful tea tree fragrance and you immediately know that you are using a product full of natural ingredients.I found that the gel sat on my skin and did not absorb quickly. For this reason I could only use the product on an evening before bed. Unfortunately, I found that it was a little hit-and-miss in terms of how my acne responded : sometimes it was effective and reduced the redness, sometimes it seemed to really irritate the pimple and it appeared larger and redder. For this reason, I probably wouldn't repurchase the product, but mainly enjoyed using it while it lasted.I also found that it became really hard to distribute the gel as I got towards the end of the tube.

Great!

Works better than highly medicated treatments like Benzac. Is clear so can be put in morning and night. Dries out pimples. Brings them to surface so the healing process is sooner finished. I use in conjunction with Benzac blackhead scrub morning + night and have seen massive changes.

Reduces the severity of pimples

This Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne is pretty good. I get some pimples around my chin and jaw area and I put this on after cleaning my skin. It smells really nice like tea tree oil and absorbs quickly. It is not greasy and doesn't sting or irritate. It does reduce the severity of pimples and dries them faster. The product comes in a little tube with a white twist off lid and you squeeze the product out. 1 tube lasts many months. I wouldn recommend this product because it works.

THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS

Has a subtle tea tree scent; soothing to smell as it works it's magic though :-)The applicator is the only thing I do not like. It has a dofer applicator so very unhygenic so you would have to disperse the product on your finger or cotton tip then apply onto blemish to avoid contact with another blemish.it is a clear gel consistency (not think as it sinks in straight away)it feels very refreshing on the skin and soaks in almost instantly.I love this product for my skin (I have normal to sensitive skin) so hardly get a blemish but when I do this stuff works instantly!

Works great

I tend to get cystic acne the ones underneath the skin. It can get painful sometimes.When I feel a acne starting to form I put this on at night. It works great and calms and reduces it down and in a few days it’s gone.Only downside it has a strong smell. I can’t really use it during day as I feel I can smell it throughout the day.Don’t need to apply to much. I find it’s more of a gel and not really oily or sticky or leaves skin greasy.Works great. And if you tend to get occasional spots/acne i find the tube lasts awhile.Will continue to buy in the future.
