Tide PODS Laundry detergent pacs

After writing a five-star review last year because I had been using it for years and absolutely loved the scent, this year they changed something. I was told it was not the formula by a rep, but if that's the case, then something else changed, either a supplier or a supplier’s formula or… something. The smell no longer is appealing at all, and to be blunt it smells like cheap laundry detergent. To be fair, one pair of my leggings actually retained the fruity smell like the old formula smelled. But all my other clothes or sheets, towels etc smell like cheap laundry detergent. After asking them not to change the scent last year, it has now changed. I actually thought my sense of smell had changed, so I went and found an old empty container with the old label, opened it and smelled it, and it's exactly how I remember. This new formula, weather changed or not, smells like I went down to my local grocery store and bought the cheapest laundry detergent I could find. The old container has a fruity smell to it. So my sense of smell did not change but something in the formula did. I am disappointed. I was never as loyal to a particular laundry detergent until botanical rain scent came out. And then it changed. This happened with the spring meadow scent as well a while ago, but I like(d) botanical rain much better. And now I have to look for a different brand.

Tide has been my tried and tested brand for a long time. This brand never disappoints me, takes care of my clothing so well. These new Tide pods, 4-n-1 with Febreze, HE Compatible, Lasting Freshness, Botanical Rain Scent are my new favorite. My clothes smells so fresh like a garden of flowers. The fragrance last long as well. I love the fact that, it is super convenient, you just have to add pods, no need to add multiple items. Laundry is ready with pleasant smell with no fuss of adding and measuring so many products. The pods are very well designed, perfect quality and quantity. It effectively removes stain from my kid’s school uniforms. I will recommend these pods to all who want convenient and best detergent for their beloved clothing. I completely agree with other commenters that the smell is completely different in the newer batches. I washed multiple loads of bedding, towels, T-shirts, and intimates this past week, and the lingering smell is so overwhelmingly bad, I have no choice but to re-wash every single item. This is particularly frustrating for me, as I struggle with ocd (particularly with regards to contamination and smell) and contact dermatitis, so over the years finding a product that actually gets the clothing clean/leaves a pleasant scent has been challenging. I randomly bought these pods five years ago, and have remained loyal ever since.
