Can't give a negative rating which is what this purchase deserves!.Doesn't rate a one.Sandwich press does not get hot enough to toast bread. Left on for 15 minutes without browning bread, filling (cheese) partly melted but not hot and lightly buttered bread became soggy, result was lukewarm, not toasted and unpalatable. Decided to return and ask for refund.Contacted supplier who advised I would need to return unit by mail (at my cost) in original packaging and provided toaster and packaging was in "as new" condition they would consider a refund less a "change of mind fee" or a " restocking fee". They asked for photos to prove unit did not work...How do you photograph something that does not work? I am now considering whether to bother sending back as cost of postage and return fees may cost more than eventual refund. Previous purchases have been Ok. This is the first time I have had unsatisfactory dealings with mydeal and their supplier. I have now purchased and used a Breville Snack maker from a local retailer for $45 that works perfectly. That s $4 cheaper than the mydeal deal!If the Tiffany Sandwich maker supplied had worked as intended there would not be a problem.It does not, but they seem to not accept this as the problem .

Doesn’t toast And too shallow

Don’t buy it! Very disappointed. It doesn’t toast the bread properly for some reason and the depth of the plates are too shallow. When you push it closed, the inside of the sandwiches run out.

If I could rate this - star I would. Dose not cook the bread, cheese runs out and the bread hasn't even browned yet. Good luck cooking for ham sandwiches and closing the lid. Rubbish rubbish rubbish. Should be recalled as not fit for purpose

Terrible!

Received this as a gift.Buyers beware. It states that it toasts 4 sandwiches. But it does not state until you open the box and read the instructions to use medium sized bread. Or to cut your bread to size to fit. Absolutely ridiculous.Also, if you like your toastie with some actual filling, this is not the product for you. The bread plates are so shallow you could almost place a slice a cheese between the two pieces of bread. Used this product once, NEVER AGAIN!

I bought this item just a week ago. I couldn't believe I received the 4 sandwich version jaffle maker. It deals fillings well as long as it is proportionate. Easy to clean up afterwards with a simple wipe.

A very good appliance, not made for larger sliced bread though.
