My family has a bunch of the Apple tags & they are wonderful. Distance isn’t an issue. We use them in backpacks, cars, purses, etc… However, my son loses his wallet. A lot. This product is really neat and SUPER helpful! I have a kid that always misplaces his phone in the house and even though we have a locator on the phone, if it dies we can’t ping it. With this tile I was able to place it inside his phone case and even if the phone dies I am able to use the tile app that is recommend on my phone and locate his phone because of the tile. The sound it makes when you ring it is very loud which make it easier to find. It also has a QR code that is on the tile, so if someone were to find it, all they have to do is scan the code and it will tell you if your tile has been found. Another plus is that it runs off of battery so it lasts a while and you don’t have to recharge it. It says the battery is up to 3 years non replaceable battery! I wasn't familiar with Tile when I received this product and assumed that you can geolocate lost items; that isn't quite the case with this product. If the lost item that has the tile is close in proximity, within bluetooth of your phone, you will be able to see on a map where the device is and play a sound to help locate it. Now, let's say you put the tile in a wallet, spent the day shopping, and left your wallet at one of several stores you will still have to visit each store to determine if the tile is there. Again, goes by bluetooth and the device for which you have the Tile app. I feel like there is a missed opportunity here. My partner and i couldn't find the tracker anywhere. This is a super cool product! It is ultra thin—only a bit thicker than a credit care—so it doesn't add bulk to anything. I'm using it for my luggage, and it tracks my bags really well. The app has several cool features, including location history, smart alerts, and find-my-phone features. The app is user-friendly, too. Definitely worth it if you want to keep track of important belongings!
This slim Tile is a lifesaver for me since I constantly misplace (aka lose) my wallet. When you activate the feature to find it, it plays a loud and clear sound to ensure you’ll find it wherever it may be. It’s also nice that you can see exactly where it is on a map within the app if you’re still having trouble locating it, and that alone has already saved me time and stress in finding my wallet as I’m trying to rush out the door.Initial setup and pairing was a breeze. It’s about as thin as two standard credit cards put together, so it will fit into any wallet with ease. No issues with it going off if you keep your wallet in your back pocket and sit on it, so that’s a plus.Highly recommend this unit!
I received Life360 Tile slim for free from influenster in a voxbox in return for my honest review. My husband tends to forget where he leaves his wallet. So from the tile app that you download in order to locate it. Press a button and the tile will make a sound. Another thing that I liked is that if I miss place my phone. The tile has a button where you can press and it’ll ring my phone.
