Tile Starter Pack (2022)

Tile is a great product. It is compact, fits neatly on my key ring and works perfectly. I typically need to use it at least once every couple of weeks. Usually, my phone (or my keys) are left in another jacket pocket or my phone has slid between the seat and the console in my car. On two occasions, I did leave my phone behind. Once in a restaurant and once in a doctor's office when it fell from my pocket. Tile was able to locate it easily. The product gives me peace of mind.

Almost an airtag equivalent

I like the various form factors and the tags function fairly well. However without a wide network of scanners the location utility is not as useful as air tag. Batteries are also not removeable so their lifespan is finite. I do like the additional findability of the printed QR code and the phone locator button. If you are on android this is youe only option for an airtag equivalent.

Don't buy waste of money and plastic

Was gifted this for Christmas and set it up and immediately was disappointed with the low quality and size of product.You cannot reset the product either so once you purchase it make sure you want it because of you don't and you want to delete your account which itself is a pain in the butt no one else can use it.Also once opened the source won't take it back so please head the warnings.

Find anything!!

I bought 2 of these for Christmas presents this year. They loved them, especially the credit card sized one. I have the one for my key chain, I actually lost my keys in a store one year before Christmas, searched the entire store twice before going to customer service, searched once more, went back to customer service, they told me that no one had turned in keys. I hit the button on the tile and could hear the tones going off, told the guy to check again and he pulled them out of his drawer!

I Love Tiles

Bought for everyone at Christmas. They were all very happy. I'd have preferred to buy the one-step up, which has a larger range, but because I was buying so many, I went with the lesser range and lower price. Having the wallet and key tile in the same package is a great idea. It's very easy to find your wallet with your keys, find your phone with your keys, or find your wallet and keys with your phone! Especially helpful if you put down your keys, at a friend's house, on a shelf in a store, etc. because you don't have to go too nuts looking for them (as long as you still have your phone!) Think someone else around you has your phone? Beep the tile on your keyring and find your phone.

Tile: Dog locator

Works great!the mini square tile is bout an inch wide. it does give real time location to your phone. My dog went about 100 yards away from me, i want to say its about a 3-5sec (signal ) lag. It says it can go up to 250 yards but i havent tested that distance yet. Looks big on my medium sized dog, but works. takes a beating too, she always rolling around in the dirt and grass. Theres also a bar code scanner if she ever is lost, they can scad the code and return her to me. Been using it for about a month now!

Time savers

After my kids turned 6 or so, not only did they start hiding my keys when playing, but I suddenly started leaving them everywhere. Nowadays, I don’t even try to look for them. As soon as they aren’t where they are supposed to be I check the app. Most times they are easy to find but every now and then, they’re under a couch cushion and I can’t hear the ring, or they’re in another room and the app can’t find them. 8 times out of 10, they’re on point though.

Useless without subscription

Most of the features are not available unless you pay for a monthly subscription. I want to use this to track an item if it was stolen. they bragg about it being able to ping off of nearby phones to capture a report it's location. Problem is if yo want to see more than the most recent location you must pay for the monthly subscription. You can not view history. I would have expected history to be stored in the divice, not the cloud. If it is stored in the device that makes it even worse. Blocking you from data on a device you purchased.

Would recommend.

A very handy thing to have around, especially when you compare the price of this to an airtag. Two minor complaints though. I keep the long and flat one in my wallet. Twice now when sitting down it would trigger and my phone would start going off at max volume. I've been able to fix it by taking the tile out and flipping it around. My other minor complaint is that it's hard to tell if you're actually pushing the button down or not. It doesn't give a click or a lot of feedback so I was walking around looking for my phone, pressing the button on and off wondering if it was working or not.

You might need a second wallet!
