The Tim Holtz Distress Oxide re-inker contains concentrated liquid inks suitable for inking the matching Distress Oxide stamp pads. Please note that there are separate refills for Distress Ink and Distress Oxide. The glass bottle has a dropper that makes it easy for you to apply the ink to the felt stamp pad. Tim Holtz Distress Oxide from Ranger is a dye ink and pigment ink in one. The stamping ink reacts with water just like Distress Ink. The difference is in the coverage and the effects you are able to achieve. Distress Oxide is an opaque stamping ink that can be blended very well. You can achieve an oxidised, chalky effect by spraying water over the ink. Once you add water the ink continues to react, for hours or even days. Use Distress Oxide with stamps, stencils or directly on light or dark paper. The spectrum of products in the Tim Holtz Distress series all have unique properties and are available in the same colours, making them ideal for combining.
