I received these shoes as a direct replacement under the Timberland warranty or guarantee scheme. My previous pair had seen the sole come away from the upper. Sent over some photos, and no quibble, was provided with a discount code to obtain a free replacement pair. These are my most favourite and comfortable shoes, a real quality product, that on this occasion didn't quite last for eternity, but through excellent customer service, a new pair have been provided. Way to go Timberland - real service.

They look even better after being worn for a while than when brand new! I love the burgundy colour, which is so attractive and can be matched with so many other colours. The only down-side is that these shoes have had extremely sketchy availability in burgundy for a few years now. Stock never seems on offer. I'm ready to buy another pair, but whether they will ever be available again is very unclear. Even the Timberland sales support staff could not tell me anything about that issue!

I bought these to replace my Loake boat shoes and so glad I did. I ordered these in 91/2 but were sent a size 10 so was a little annoyed that they got my order wrong and that I'd have to go through the bother of sending them back. However, I needn't have worried, as upon trying them on they fitted just perfectly and are so so comfortable with lovely soft leather. These shoes are built to last and I will be buying a pair in brown.
Received the original order, and the leather has some sort of white film all over it. Asked for a replacement pair, and the replacement pair came in the same way. I'm not sure if this is how they are supposed to be, but they look awful. They need a good shoe shine at least. Shouldn't a new pair of shoes come in NEW condition? I loved these shoes and wore them for over a decade - several pairs - in the 90s. Debating whether or not to send both pairs back and just live with the memory.
Bought these for my husband. Nice shoe; fits and looks great; exactly as described online. Should have read more closely bc I was surprised at heavy they are.
I finally threw in the towel and purchased these, replacing a pair THIRTY years old,which literally was falling apart. Excellent quality, handsome looking, tremendousfit, along with a price which for tis product is quite worth it.This pair will surely outlive me.
Rough bits that need filing inside, dodgy wonky stitching on the outside. I would genuinely believe these were fake if I hadn't bought them directly from you. What on Earth has happened to the quality compared to ten years ago? This from a lifelong Timberland Boat shoe wearer.
My 5-star review is for appearance and the quality of the shoes. I am saying that with experience. It will take at least 6 months to a year for them to soften and fit like a glove. This is my second pair and after I got them, I wondered why I waited so long to get them. They absolutely look fantastic and actually a head turner. My teenage son who is into Van's, Under armour wants one and my 10 yr old, who doesn't care, actually said "WoW". In my opinion they are true American Classics.They should last for a long time.
At first the shoe was very uncomfortable and it hurt the inside portion of both ankles.However after the first few days the leather formed to my foot.The shoe is comfortable, stylish and very durable.Size runs a little big.An 8.5 (U.S) normally fits however I settled with the 8.0 (U.S).
