Picked these up a DSW to use as a semi snowboot (they come up to my ankle) and I love them! Super comfortable, easy to keep them on, 8+ hours. They clean up nicely! They keep my feet dry in the rain or snow. They look great jeans or khakis. The only draw back is that they aren't non-slip. Was out at a restaurant that had a concrete floor and I hit a spot of water and almost fell down. In Timberland's defense, the boots do not say non-slip.

I bought these a few weeks ago and love them. My main reason for choosing them was price and they actually came in a 12 1/2. The fit is good, maybe a little large but that beats too small. I've been on 2 hikes in them and they perform well. I actually bought the black and they are my daily shoes now as well. I would definitely buy them again.

I have had these shoes for two years and they have served me well. They are comfortable and broke in well. The waterproofing held up well for walking in dew-covered grass and in walking through shallow streams below the tongue of the shoe. and were mostly waterproof up to the ankle. I have worn these shoes extremely frequently the past two years from everything including around town, on trail, and off-trail. My few complaints are that the treads wore out sooner than I was hoping, and were mostly gone after about a year. In the second year of wearing them I put close to a thousand miles in them off trail, where they did face a lot of abuse. The rubber part on the front did detach from the leather after walking off trail in steep conditions. Just got these boots and love the support they give my arch. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and it's very hard to find shoes that I can walk in. The inner soles are not super soft gel or anything but the arch supports my whole foot which makes my feet feel very comfortable. The shoe does run a half size small. I originally bought an 11 and had to return it for an 11 1/2. My toes were cramped in the size 11. I'm thinking that if these shoes feel this good right out the box they should feel even better once they are broken in more. I will say one thing about the leather. The leather shows scuffs really easy. I mean if you even run your finger nail across it they will show a scuff. But I think it adds character to the shoe and makes it look well worn. I've been a construction worker for over 30 years. I am seriously picky about my boots. I've had these boots for about 3 months, the break in was about a week. Once broke in, I had no issues. I am currently in California where we are experiencing huge amounts of snow. I have shoveled my snow in these boots every day and not got wet once. 5 stars.
I have not taken these on a trail yet, I am still wearing them around the house so they soften up. Out of the other two brands these are opening up the fastest, the toes are the most comfortable and have the best feel overall. The very last pair that I had (the other big name in hiking boots) was real bulky and I gave up on them and returned for a refund. The pair before that I ended up selling - could not return for refund any longer. These Timberlands are lighter, more compact and fast opening up. Im sure they'll do good on trails too, had another pair years ago that was a champ on trails. highly recommend.
I bought these for hiking when the wife and I go camping. I planned to wear them around the house a few hours a day to break them in. But that didn’t happen. The first time I wore them was the day we left. I put them on, packed the truck, went to pick up the rig out of storage, drove 3 hours to the site, set up and took a walk around the campground all without a single complaint from the feet. The next day we did a 7 mile hike on a black diamond trail. After 7 miles and 4 stream crossings my feet were still happy and dry.During the hike my wife said she needed new boots too. So we went back and got her a pair. The women’s boot seemed a little more fashionable than functional so she got the men’s boot too. So far so good.
I bought these for my husband about a month ago and he absolutely loves them. Found them on Moosejaw for an extremely low price (compared to other websites). There great quality. Extremely warm. Water proof. Great for work, fashion wear, or out-door activities. Easy to keep clean too. Would definitely recommend. Great price, quality, look, durability, comfort and over all boot. Five Stars *****
More like a trail running shoe than a hiking boot. Not fully gusseted, as the attachment of the tongue only comes up to the level of the top of the foot; so hardly waterproof. All man made materials inside,, none of which wear as well / last as long as a leather lined boot. The outer leather is good quality, and the fit is as expected for this size. This is basically a city version of a hiking boot and would not hold up under a true backpacking challenge. There is light torsional support, allowing the boot to be light in weight but not supportive enough to support your feet well if you are carrying a large backpack.
Was looking for a good comfortable pair of work boots. Many options were available, but I was needing something with flex as well as waterproofing. I decided to try these hiking boots and I’m glad I did, the only thing really missing would be gel inserts since I spend 16 hrs daily on cement. Other than that, I’d give these a 10 for durability, waterproofing, and an 8 for comfort due to the inserts.
