I purchased the Skinceuticals beginning of last summer on a spur of the moment after having dinner out and just "browsing." Well I paid the $165 for the Vitamin C Ferulic Acid and it did everything they said it would and more. My skin was glowy and clear the entire time I used it but it very much is the type of product that you have to continue to use to see results. Well, after moving to a new condo and paying $650 more in rent a month I had to cut down on some things and I am a skin care junkie so skin care is my weakness. It was selling for a decent price so I decided to give it a go. The product itself I liked because it was fragrance-free and applied nicely. I appreciate that the product isn’t housed in a clear container - this allows the product to oxidize faster and lose its efficacy. Unfortunately, I have other issues with the packaging. It somehow leaks after it dispenses. I’m not sure how, but there’s always oxidized serum residue on the bottle. I thought perhaps I received a bad bottle so I decided to buy it again. Best Vitamin C serum I have ever used

Let me start off by saying that I’ve only been using it for one week and while I don’t notice any huge differences, I am amazed by the quality of this serum. I have sensitive, fair skin and I am 36. I have been using a very expensive, Obagi 15% serum (not sure if I can name drop). And I loved it. But times change and I really didn’t want to spend $100.So I did an extensive search for a good vitamin c serum with minimal ingredients and no nasty ingredients and found timeless 20% vitamin c serum. You guys really should advertise about the ingredients! Who wants nasty ingredients? No one! And this serum is only the necessity’s. It does not clog more pores, which is easy because I have large pores. It does not break me out. And it’s kept in a light proof container. I've been using this serum daily for about 3 months now and I am very pleased with the results. I suffer from hyperpigmentation and dark sun spots, I wouldn't say they've completely disappeared but they have faded quite noticeably. Ever since using this product, my skin is so smooth, no texture or enlarged pores. Also, I used to struggle with scars. I don't break out a lot, but when I do, I'd always have a scar from the pimple for weeks after it was gone. Since using this, there have been no marks or scars. Excellent product

I really enjoy this vitamin c serum, I started with this 10% to make sure nothing bothered my skin and that I could tolerate introducing vitamin c into my routine. Which I have been able to do, I have had zero irritation issues with this. I’m considering going up to the 20% as I have read that is a more useful concentration over time, however I have still noticed some brighter, smoother skin while using this 10% potency! Hopefully I will be able to tolerate the 20%, but if not, I will go back to the 10%. The first time I ordered, I did receive one that was already starting to oxidize and was not coming out clear, it was passed 3 months from the manufacturing date, so I spoke with customer service who was wonderful and sent me a fresh one out immediately. Good product, but stinging reaction with my facial moisturizer

I tried this product based on a recommendation from my Dermatologist as an alternative to Skinceutical’s Vitamin C E Freulic Acid serum. I did notice a difference in the appearance of my skin after 2-3 weeks of using this product. However, my results are skewed because I used “The Calmer” serum at night and the Vitamin C E Freulic Acid serum in the morning.I discovered that application of Vitamin C serum underneath my daytime moisturizer with SPF30 and hydraulic acid was too much for my skin. Both products contain hydraulic acid and I have to use a face moisturizer without hydraulic acid after the serum to lessen skin irritation. My skin would feel like I was applying rubbing alcohol to my face when I used both products. However, that part is on me since I have not been taking care of my skin as I should have. I going to try the lighter version of this formula to see if it helps to lessens the skin irritation. I will apply the Vitamin C serum or the Calmer serum every other day instead of everyday. I am open to suggestions.Good product though.

I’ve been using this on and off for several years.I won’t be without it anymore at age 45.I’ve been lured away by different vitamin C serums claims a few times but that will not be happening again.This is the best and strongest vitamin C serum I have ever used.Whenever I’m consistent with applying this serum my skin glows. This serum helps my skin with tone, texture and hyperpigmentation. This is a great formula for the money and yes, there is a bit of a smell to it, but that’s what happens when you combine Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid. It doesn't last so it's not a problem. My only problem is the packing. This is a very thin serum that’s packaged in a pump bottle. The serum began to leak from the bottle almost immediately and then turned brown as it oxidized (see pic from ‘nycgal’ review). The product in inside was fine, so I started storing it in a plastic bag to keep it from staining anything it came in contact with (which also kept the leaks from oxidizing). When I had gotten almost to the end of the bottle, I couldn’t get any more out of the pump even though I could still hear some sloshing around inside.
