Whilst this kettle isn't electric, and so has a fair amount of thermal loss, there are steps to reduce this like pre heating it.The 90 degree pour angle is brilliant as one doesn't need to "get used" to where the water will hit the grounds - its always directly under the spout.The quality it flawless. It has a surprising weight to it for only a 300ml kettle. The handle doesn't heat up too drastically, and the ability to have a thermometer put through the hole in the lid is a wonderful thought.I was also able to arrange to pick this up to save on the delivery cost - which was easily refunded. Top quality service!Highly recommended.

I didn't think that I needed to use the goose-neck kettle until I got one. I was using a tea-set kettle before and this is so much better.

This was the key element for me getting a great pour-over coffee. So easy to control the water and get a great result. Note that the 300mL is really 300mL, i.e. when filled to the brim! For me it means I have this thing almost to the top. If you plan to use this with hot-water, consider the 600mL may better for you. But the 300mL is nice and small and very easy to handle.

Excellent little kettle, probably the best value for its size. Used with pre-boiled water; the kettle itself is not to be heated.
Great kettle for pour over brewing. Well sized for one mug of coffee. Solid construction, comfortable handle that is safe to hold when kettle is hot. Lid locks into place securely. Can use an instant read thermometer inserted through hole in lid to check water temp. Able to control stream for pour over brewing easily. Note water will spurt a little from spout when it reaches boiling temperature while heating.
I bought this product because in the QanA for the product it did say you could use it on stove top. However, if you do your coffee will taste so harshly bitter it is as if something is leaching into your coffee. This should definitely be clarified by alternative brewing as their incorrect answer led me to buy this product. Please make clear in product description that you cannot use this product on stove top. Other than that I like the kettle, particularly the narrow spout which allows for perfect flow control.
A beautiful little kettle with exceptional pour quality. Lid fits perfectly. I fill it from a larger kettle and its small scale feels great in the hand and really puts you in control. Excellent 1 cup pour over or just keep filling it with boiling water as you go for more. Love the design proportions.
