Titleist yet again exceeds on this driver. I'm a 15.4 HCP with a driver swing speed avg of 85. This felt amazing off the face. The performance I received was absolutely awesome! I could work my typical shot which is a fade and I could tell there was a difference from my old driver. The stock shaft is pretty good but I have AV orange R Shaft and it's an amazing pairing. I would definitely recommend this driver to someone who does have a driver swing speed below 90mph

I am surprised how easy it is to hit this driver! I have a moderate swing speed 85-92 mph, and have struggle with distance and accuracy. While the TSR1 isn’t that absolute longest of my drivers, it’s the best combination of distance, shot dispersion and consistency in carry. This is by far one of my best purchases to date and would recommend to any moderate swing speed golfer need more height and carry. (Note the TM Stealth driver with air speeder shaft carries around 5yds longer but this find the fairway approximately 10% more often based on my Arccos data).

I have hit multiple brands with same shafts in all and the TS1 and TSi1 are by far(pun intended) the longest and most forgiving . Only one close was the Ping 400.

I now have 3 of the TSR1 clubs. They are much lighter in weight and really are great clubs for anyone looking for a lighter weight club. I'm 76 y/o and I've been a Titleist player for 60 years - these really fit my needs.
Great service from Carl’s in regard to processing,Shipping and packaging.I recently turned 65, I read a lot of reviews on drivers that work well for older players. I choose this driver for quality,The fact it was lightweight yet not over the top in regard to weight and I wanted the latest tech in a driver.I had a cobra F8, Which was a nice driver, I averaged approx 225 off the tee, On the Titleist driver I went with the light regular shaft flex and I have gotten a few more yds distance off the tee, Where the new driver has really helped is in the amount of fairways I am now hitting, It has made a very significant difference.Very happy with the driver, Looks, Feel and sound all very pleasing, I would not hesitate to make this purchase again.
I am hitting the XXIO Black X.After buying the TSR1 I am VERY disappointed in the TSR1 compared to the Black X.The Black X is far superior compared to the TSR1 in forgiveness, distance, and control.Very disappointed with the TSR1, don't waste your money!
This driver is great. I was looking for something lighter to help increase club head speed and this was perfect. I played the TS3 previously so I trust the quality of the Titleist product. This club delivered. Very stable but lighter than the TS2 and TS3. I am not as young as I used to be so I have lost some club head speed. Working with my coach he recommended lighter. It worked I have gained about 10-15 yards with this club. I would highly recommend especially if you are like me and need a little more club head speed.
I hadn't played golf for a long time so I started to go to the range . After about 5 trips to the range I had my swing back in order except for my driver. I couldn't hit it straight. So the next time I went I brought all my old drivers and noticed the only one I hit good consistantly was a Taylor Made with a 49 gm stiff shaft. All the others were 65-69 gms. So I ordered the Titlest TS1 with a 48 gm stiff shaft . So far just about everything is online. I would have never guessed a few grams would make such a difference.
Been a Callaway guy for almost 15 years. Just traded in my Paradym for a TSR1. I'm a 73, lefty, 12-14 handicap, swing speed at best is 70-80. Almost always in the fairway with a slight fade and decent yardage. Tried this TSR1 on a whim. I'm impressed. I still had a slight draw with a senior shaft so Carls set me up with a 40 / R2 shaft and set to a 11.25 loft. Dead straight with extra length. Tried it yesterday here in Michigan, Wet no roll plugging conditions, 43 with a slight breeze. And I still was getting more yardage then my old driver. The feel, the sound, the control, the length. No problem getting it airborne . Can't wait to try it with good conditions. Missed only one fairway and that was dead push. It's light weight and really powerful! Went to the driving range to hit my new TSR1. I am 85 years old and still have a nine index. This is with out a doubt the best driver I have ever owned considering my age and swing speed of around 80mph. When I flushed it dead center the ball jumped of the club face high and dead straight. Can't wait to get it on the golf course for a real test.

Titleist TSR1 Driver
Titleist TSR1 Driver The TSR1 is a 460cc driver with maximum power and a traditionally sized, moldable polyurethane face that delivers higher ball speed and less spin. The clubhead features Variable Face Thickness (VFT) to control the dispersion of the shot and promote higher ball launch, while the low center of gravity increases MOI by placing the majority of the weight further back in the clubhead. These technologies provide longer, straighter shots than any other 460cc driver on the market. TSR1 drivers were designed with speed in mind for every type of player. These drivers feature MMT SpeedMesh shafts that weigh less than 40 grams in all bends and provide ultra-light speed paired with incredible stability and energy transfer at impact.
