Used it on my first solo backpacking trip and it was nice and light. Be warned, since it is titanium though that it will heat up everything fast. So if you aren't just boiling water you could scorch your food!

I picked this pot for backpacking over the smaller Titanium pots for multiple reasons.1. The larger size allows it to nest the larger fuel canister.2. The larger base has more flame surface area which heats more efficiently (faster boiling with less fuel).3. I love that the lid is a pan too other than just being a lid.4. The extra volume. I never backpack alone, so the extra volume comes in handy for things like making hot drinks for more that one person in one batch, verses multiple individual batches. These advantages were more valuable to me than the slight weight increase of a smaller pot. I love this pot!

I carried this pot (along with my MSR pocket rocket stove) for my entire AT thru hike- 2,100+ miles, almost 6 months straight. Cooked hundreds of meals, boiled hundreds of pots of water, etc. and it stood the test of time. It can be placed directly on coals/flames with no issues & is easy to clean. I would recommend this size (1100mL) over its smaller counterpart (750mL)- it is the perfect size for knorr sides, ramen w/ mashed potatoes, a whole box of mac n cheese, or dehydrated rice sides. A 12 oz fuel canister fits inside- I wrap the canister in a bandana before storing it though, as the metal on metal will cause rust on the inside of the pot.The only downside to this product is related to its lid- if you're cooking food in the pan & squeeze the grip, even just ... MoreI carried this pot (along with my MSR pocket rocket stove) for my entire AT thru hike- 2,100+ miles, almost 6 months straight. A trail friend fixed this for me (thanks SunnySide) by tightening the little hinge mechanism so it doesn't collapse so easily. I now have 0 complaints!!

Love this little set! It is perfect for backpacking. Incredibly lightweight. I had been using a bulky pot for years and so glad that I finally picked this up. The tiny frying pan works as the lid if needed. The pot itself can fit an 8oz fuel canister and lighter, but that's about it. I primarily use it for boiling water while on the trail. Looks nice and has endured multiple backpacking and car camping trips without any wear or tear.
My boyfriend and I are going on the Appalachian trail next year and I had gotten a smaller pot and pan set that just barely held food for both of us. I hated spilling the food over the edges but loved the wider pot with the pan lid option so I was looking for something similar but bigger so I can fit a large fuel canister inside the pot. We have used this set a few times now and I have no complaints. We actually just took a trip with three people and we cooked for all of us in this one pot comfortably. I like that the pan fits inside of the the pip of the pot instead of setting on the outside edge. It's a very nice touch.
Killer little set up but be warned I scorched countless bits of meals before I got to where I'm comfortable cooking in it. All i can say is looooow heat for the most part. If you're just boiling water and looking for extra room to nest though dont think twice.
Overall i’m very happy with the Toaks Titanium 1100ml pot and pan. The set is lightweight, the pan fits over the pot, sturdy, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. It even comes with an orange storage sack. I docked 1 star because the frying pan is a bit finicky as others have said, however it’s not a deal breaker. The frying pan is also a little small however I find it cooks burgers well, bacon strips, eggs, and even cookies! Overall I like it
The billy is a smaller than i was expecting., compared to billies i already have of a similar advertised capacity,. I think different companies measure their products differently. Anyway i gave it the acid test of cooking packet pasta in it, and was able to get through the foaming-up phase of the process without a spillover. So it will be my companion during my walk of Te Araroa (South Island) this summer.I've taken off the handles at the side to reduce the weight. It wasn't easy (and more expensive) to acquire a billy with a proper old fashioned handle that would allow me to use the billy over the fire.It is quite and expensive item working out at around $1000.00 per kilogram. But it halved the weight of my cooking equipment.
I bought this to have a larger cup to boil water and cook in. I use oversized coffee mugs for my tea at home, and so this is perfect -- large enough for a good cuppa, and yet so lightweight for my backpack! I store a small isobutane canister, my portable stove burner, and teabags in the cup. I love it and use it several times a back packing and camping day!
Prior to purchasing this I had been doing most of my outdoor cooking with a three piece stainless nesting set. The toaks titianium set feels like a world apart from before. I have given the Toaks a few test runs at home and they have been on several trips into the wild. Whilst of similar volume the shape makes this set much easier to pack than shorter wider pots.I have teamed it up with the 550ml pot which can be used as a double boiler. This configuration is great for preventing the burning of the food at the bottom of the pot that is common when using gas cookers.
