Any titanium pot/cup for hiking/camping is an extreme extravagance, to say the least. To pay $40 for a cup is just sinful. But, it is worth it. I've been purchasing ultra-light supplies for years, now, one-per-month or so. I'm about done (for two people's ultra-light gear) and this cup nearly finishes a complete set of ultra-light gear. I had tried making the 'do-it-yourself-pot' where you use a Foster's Beer can, cut the bottom off a Friskie's cat food can to make a flat bottom and it lasted about 2 times until I put it in a campfire to cook some beans and the bottom just popped out making it unusable. I love this pot. It's extremely lightweight, durable, and cools off quickly. My only suggestion for improved is to have a lid that can snap on or can stay on while using it. Not the biggest deal, but it's a minor inconvenience. It's the perfect size to store your isobutane can, stove, and lighter.

Perfect for stashing a fold down cup, backpacking stove, 4 oz fuel canister, small lighter or matches. Lightweight and boils water well. Would definitely recommend. I think with a smaller size pot you would be unable to hold these items easily.

New to backpacking but after doing a lot of research I decided to get this totals pot and Iām glad I did. Itās lightweight, doesnāt take up much space. It never discolored when I used it on my stove while backpacking. Itās not often you get a high end item that everyone from YouTuber backpackers to normal folks can afford and agree on that it was the right decision. This is one of those items.
I purchased the Toaks 750 without handles, it is an excellent pot. It is just the right size for a solo backpacker being large enough to cook soups for a meal but also not too large to be bulky. The material is Titanium which is insanely lightweight and durable but does not retain any heat- so yes, as other reviewers have noted, food will almost instantly burn if cooked improperly (heat too high or not stirred enough). Thatās not the mugs fault, it is simply a property that titanium has. I have used this pot to dry bake biscuits and cakes, cook soups, and of course boil water, and it has proven to be an extremely reliable, affordable pot. It is absolutely a must have if you are trying to reduce the weight of your pack.
I bought this in preparation for my first backpacking trip ever set for the spring of ā25. I wanted to get used to cooking with it and packing it for fitment. Though I havenāt take it on the trail, I have used it car camping and I am really happy with the purchase. The quality is great and the weight seems to be acceptable for my needs. It fits a 100 gram canister, my Soto Windmaster stove, hot lips, and a small Bic lighter with the lid on. Clean up has been easy but I havenāt made anything too messy as of yet. REI had the best price and shipping was quick.
This Toak's 750 is a great piece of kit. Over several years as a thru hiker I've tinkered with a lot of titanium mug/pots and this 750 is really just about perfect. The similar volume Snow Peak mugs are a bit bulkier with bigger looser handles(which can be good with gloves). The Evernew pots have great silicone handle coverings which is great if your cook setup never involves an open fire. The Toaks 750 is a well designed, no frills mug/pot that has a small packed size. The lid is just a lid but the lockable lifter on top eliminates fishing around to lift it. The thin handles have a nice ergonomic design for a hand and allow the mug to sit comfortably inside the Toak's Tistand . I also like the ability to poke this pot into a fires coals with no worrys of melting ...Ā MoreThis Toak's 750 is a great piece of kit. Goals 750 is a good pot. Very lightweight, I can fit a 100g fuel canister lighter and brs 3000t in the pot. I got this set up to put in my day pack compared to my heavier cooking set up. Only downside is thereās no rubber on the handles and they do get hot, but they cool down very fast. So not much of an issue.
This is probably the best titanium pot for a cook kit. As you have probably seen it fits fuel, a mini stove like a pocket rocket 2 and a lighter. I am currently using it in my car for whenever I might need it. Works great for the price. Definitely check out more of Toaks stuff if you havenāt.
As the title of this review says its the perfect pot when going minimal on a backpacking trip its big enough to boil water for a dehydrated meal and coffee. You can fit a small gas canister a pocket rocket and a mini bic wrapped in a bandana. im sure other stoves would fit however can only speak for the stove i own. You can cook some ramen in a cup this size so if you also want to cook a meal in the pot it is doable. perfect for one person. In the mornings is boil water for coffee and oatmeal. i add the water directly to the oatmeal bag with peanut butter so no clean up the the remaining water i add my coffee to i use instant but if you want you could do cowboy coffee or use a bandana for it. overall its a nice piece kit could find other brands on amazon if you want ...Ā MoreAs the title of this review says its the perfect pot when going minimal on a backpacking trip its big enough to boil water for a dehydrated meal and coffee.
