I was impressed by the beautiful packaging, the attention to detail was impressive. The knife itself was exactly what I was looking for, it has a great balance and is beautifully packaged. It works wonderfully well for chopping and slicing vegetables. I look forward to using the knife, it’s a real pleasure to use such a well crafted tool.

Bought this knife for my wife's Christmas present. She loves it! I'd often get after her for not taking care of our old Nakiri which is carbon steel as she would wash it and leave it lying on the bottom of the dish rack and often forget about it. Id find it the next day accumulating more staining and rust. So I purchased this knife with VG10 stainless which doesn't rust as easily. Of course, we take better care of this knife anyway. She makes a lot of yatsumisuke so this knife is perfect for cutting vegetables

I wound up chipping the tip of the knife on my first use of the knife while I was chopping leeks. I chalked it up to poor technique and not the blade itself. Once I adjusted my technique (using push cuts instead of chopping and draw cuts with the tip) the blade performed exactly how I anticipated. It glides through onions and garlic and pretty much any other vegetable. It is pretty sharp out of the box as well. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend to others.
Love my new Nakiri knife! Easy to clean, unbelievable sharpness and comes with a protective soft plastic sleeve. Slices veggies and fruits with ease. I just wished I bought this earlier!
So far, it's perfect. Cuts vegetables into thinnest slices with no effort whatsoever. Also looks brilliant. The delivery was surprisingly quick too, I'm very happy with the purchase.
I've always been a "tall" knife person, gyuto is really not my thing. I was a bit worry about this knife is not tall enough for me, both up-and-down and rocking chopping.I love the way this knife looks, just about the right height, and has a bit of weight to it, which makes the chopping tad easier imo.
Overall great knife. Reasonable sharp out of the box. The handle isn't the most comfortable for me but that is more personal. No thrills knife that peforms as expected.
Great knife that o go to often now. Very sharp. Light and not too thicck
This knife is incredible, I use it for everything now. It's beautiful and perfect!
